If you didn’t know, Zenless Zone Zero is getting its next big content update, and it’s going to take us to the Outer Rim. To celebrate this event, HoYoVerse has released a beautiful new film to commemorate the event. It shows the entire Sons of Caledon gang in all their glory, and a shower scene to end it all. Obviously.
HoYoVerse has set quite a precedent for stylish cutscenes, not just outside of the game but during key story moments as well. Often action-packed and flashy, this is one of the main perks of keeping up with the game. Lately, it’s also started to become extremely playful, with Jane Doe kicking off the trend with various appearances on the game’s official channels.

I mean, look. It’s no secret that one of the calling cards of video game companies is sex appeal, especially for gacha games that make a living by selling currency used in character banners. It is also worth noting that in games such as “Zenless Zone Zero”, the characters are the core attraction for most players. Sure, gameplay is important, and so is storyline, but characters that really speak to you can be the glue that keeps long-term players glued to their favorite games.
If you’ve stopped playing Zenless for a while, and as much as I fully admit I’ve been considering how busy the past month has been with releases, it’s always worth coming back for these big updates. Not only are they usually filled with new quests, but it’s really worth knowing the storyline. There’s a lot to like about HoYoVerse, but to me, their writers are top-notch. Bring a new twist!
