Zatanna #1
Writer/Artist: Jamal Campbell
Letter: Ariana Maher
Jamal Campbell Now is one of the true superstar creators working with DC Comics. His resume has been as impressive as anyone who works in superhero comics in recent years. He works with him Brian Michael Bendis To create a new character Naomi…he then took a break with multiple fantasy writers that Hugo won, Therefore, it is called Jemis Co-create a new green lantern, Jo Mullein Distant departments. If that’s not enough, he then works with the writer Joshua Williamson Launch new Superman #1 That was also widely loved.
With such a resume, people imagine Campbell has a free pass to do the DC he wants to do next. Event Comics, Batman, created another new character? None of this is surprising. However, Campbell chose to do a miniseries featuring Zatanna…he chose to write and draw himself. That might be a little surprising, although my only reaction to the news was simple, Cool.
Do you know? This book yes Cool. You don’t often get a non-Marki character from the Marquis superhero comic creator (heh). Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love Zatanna, from design to magic to acting skills…all of that. But she is not Batman or Wonder Woman. She wasn’t even Green Arrow or Aquaman, both of which were well received by the Alist creators of the time in my life. In the recent past, she has even been defeated, not the character of the Bat Family, but not the protagonist of her own. To be fair, we did get a great black label, Zatanna: Put down the housebut Black Label did establish his own home of substitute hero comics, which is more important than DC Mainline.
All of this is to say that Campbell obviously had a vision for the book when he did it and stood out on the first question. The artist’s shiny versatility is fully demonstrated from the start as we get fairytale flashbacks, killer opening spills to remind us of Zatanna’s entire deal, and transitioning to our main story. This comic is no surprise.
But what I like most is that it tells a single micro story that really wins the cliff of the final page, which promises to push the miniseries forward. It’s an impressive writing, and it’s a good reward, and no readers see it coming. I think this is done well.
Overall, the first question is great if the audience is a game, Zatanna Probably the latest DC Side Hero, his name is classic, breakout. In my opinion, she is also one of those characters who have not yet confirmed running. OK, that’s probably it.

Summary
I really don’t know I’m right Jenny Sparks #7This is the ending of this mini series by the writer Tom King, artist Jeff speaks, and letters Clayton Cowles. I like this book very much. It’s about a superhero (Captain Atom) who uses God-like power on a whim, holding a bar filled with hostages. While this sounds like a biggest premise, the story (so far) telling is underestimated in my opinion, the way it really raises the stakes and tensions. However, this ending question brings people beyond this issue and conducts a comprehensive philosophy. Of course, we’ve been watching the psychological chess game throughout the lead character Jenny Sparks and our little man Captain Atom. It’s a slow build that is now fully displayed in the finale. My reaction was that I thought it worked and that it worked very well. I walked away and wanted to read the story right away from the start and see how it was complete. Maybe I will do that and one day write more about this comic…
- Boys, New God That’s the shocker. This week we get New God #3see the regular team of writers Ram V., artist Evan Cagle, Colorist Francesco Segalo, and letters Tom Naples Joined by artists Riccardo Federeci For that book’s flashback sequence, the book labeled the label as “chronic sequence.” In this way, Federeci joins a group of interesting comic artists who kill the murderer Jorge Fornes Do this in the first issue Jesse Lonergan In the second. Combine these guests’ artists (all very quirky artists, and they’re all great – combined with the regular art of Cagle and Segala, you already have a book that doesn’t look like your usual superhero comics. Read on This shocked me when this question. After all, it’s a comic about the next level of space god. Go all out and make it stand out and make it unreal – that’s exactly what the team is doing. I like it.
- at last, Night Wing It is the book that I tried to wrap my head around. However, I originally (probably written in this space) writer and Walt (Meditating, creepy and experimental in his work) and Dexter I am (He is one of those artists who wear great fists with faces) is a mismatch. In my opinion, Watters does the best work with artists with more traits like Dani, and like they say they can match his freak. Yes, at first, I was confused about how this book works. But this slowly won me. This book understands that Nightwing can explore the weird and more dreamy side of Gotham City in Batman’s way. He can kick animal monsters in the face, use logos as neon flashlights on suits, usually Cooler Better than Batman. I think this book works, even though I took a minute to get to the book, and the creative team did congestion.
