Popular YouTuber and Kick streamer Jack Doherty was in the news over the weekend after his expensive sports car crashed into a guardrail. The incident occurred during Kick’s live stream and he has been permanently banned from the platform.
On October 5, 21-year-old Doherty crashed his custom-made (and very expensive) McLaren 570S while live streaming. In video clips shared online, the content creator, who has more than 1 million YouTube subscribers, can be seen checking and using his phone before the accident. The pavement Doherty was traveling on was also wet from the rain, which likely caused him to lose control and hit the guardrail on the right side of the highway, narrowly avoiding other vehicles on the road.
