I really put my hands on my best efforts and can be purchased on the list on March 19th. yes a lot of To read all my previews and then eventually narrow down the suggestions to five. This happens occasionally. Sometimes it’s coincidence and accidental, while other times it’s a sign that the comics are now strong. Despite sales and other market struggles, I actually think that speaking to the latter this week, the way the monthly comics are read is as interesting as it is for a long time.
I mean to look at this week. There are currently 3 familiar character publishing plans with new entries, including two absolute books, one Ultimate book and series in the Energon Universe. Most importantly, the buzzing superhero drama Power fantasy Moving forward, long-term cross-border bookstores legend Its latest arc is summed up, a pair of thoughtful new suspense stories from the release of the indie comics. Although comic websites are logically difficult to report, this is a good question. Hope this continues.
Check out my five suggestions for landing below and check out the usual release list… Enjoy!
Top comics purchased on March 19, 20025
Absolute Batman #6
writer: Scott Snyder
artist: Nick Dragotta
Colorist: Frank Martin
letter: Clayton Cowles
Publisher: DC Comics
Bruce Wayne is a young man who has been escalating all his life, becoming a man with a bigger obstacle than the enemy and the obstacles that hinder him, and he will have to break the black mask and his party animals. Would he do this without the help of his unlikely new MI6 ally Alfred Pennyworth? How did his childhood friends – Edward Nygma, Waylon Jones, Harvey Dent and Oswald Cobblepot (etc.) play a key role in Batman’s legacy as Gotham’s Nightwatch? Absolutely Batman’s first story arc, the Zoo ends with this story that is bigger than life span, while introducing some new elements from Arc 2.
Why it’s cool: It’s the finale of one of the most popular superhero comics in a while, and it fits in all the fun ideas the series has been exploring from the start. The art looks great, too, and there is a tempting setting on both sides of the arc. Now, Batman (maybe soon) can do a lot of fun things, and it feels like this series is Pack Leader.

Crushing Depth #1
writer: DB Andry & Tim Daniel
artist: Alex Sanchez
Colorist: Kurt Michael Russell
letter: Justin Birch
Publisher: Crazy cave
The two brothers locked in the siblings’ competitive battle to command a giant nuclear submarine, an amnesty that would be irrevocably changed by climate change in the near future. Chief Science Officer Liana Pearson finds herself not only trapped in the wilderness brothers, but also drowning her fear of the ground world. As aliens infiltrate pardon and subvert the balance of power, Liana has only two deadly options left – to cover up the toxic surface world or turn the submarine into an unwelcome abyss and squeeze the depths – deep – deep!
Why it’s cool: The claustrophobic horror movies in the submarine are terrible, but the book is growing and there are some near-future apocalypse in it. It all adds to a moody, nervous debut issue where you can prepare to make the entire series.

New God #4
writer: Ram v
artist: Evan Cagle, with guest Bernard Chang
Colorist: Francesco Segal
letter: Tom Naples
Publisher: DC Comics
New Genesis. Apokolips. Earth. In the war of the deadly Inquisition, three worlds are known as Nyctari. Three worlds are on the verge of extinction. The only hope for redemption in the three worlds may lie in a little boy filled with incomprehensible power, a power beyond God. But is this boy really the power of redemption, or is the greatest evil reincarnation known to the universe? Can the power of these three worlds answer this critical question before it’s too late?
Why it’s cool: In terms of its artistic style and the ideas conveyed, this title is a truly must-read, bold standout. A full-scale war broke out this week. The power inherent in the new god is hard to tangle your head – elemental evil, true kindness, etc. – but the title is so sharp and ambitious that it makes them just.

Starting from Alcatraz #1writer: Christopher Cantwell
Artist/Letter: Taylor Crook
Publisher: They press
Criminals Frank Morris and Clarence Anglin washed the shore in San Francisco after surviving the infamous escape from the Alcatraz federal stance in June 1962. They soon meet their own rude and disappointed Handler, a mysterious young woman who also engages in something and hopes to quickly head north towards the border-if they can make it alive. When a tenacious federal hunt and opportunity encounters a criminal threatening despair, everyone will discover the same blood-stained truth: a running life is more hellish than Alcatraz.
Why it’s cool: The book uses a real-life event in which criminals escape from Alcatraz Island (and never discovered) is the starting point for a new crime suspension comic. The premise is great, but the execution of the series is absolutely perfect, from art to representation to plot twists and turns in the first issue. The year is still very young, but the 48-page debut has already appeared in that year, and there is no doubt that the Best New #1 issue.

When I Take Revenge #3
writer: Gust Moreno
artist: Jakub Rebelka
letter: Becca Carey
Publisher: Prosperity! studio
Barrera introduces an obscure theory practice that prompts questions about Stygian’s exorcism and what it seems like everything is.
But before he could delve deeper into his pastor’s customs, their investigation into the sudden and fatal turn of the dead apprentice…
Why it’s cool: It’s a very simple, character-driven exorcist story that is definitely bigger than the sum of its various parts. Jakub Rebekla (always great) artwork will certainly improve it, but other than that, everything is done so well that it will work as a whole. This comic is by far one of the favorite surprises of 2025.
