The Gamescom opening night livestream took place yesterday, and there was plenty of news for those with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, which they can use to play the still-good collection of games the service has. So here’s a quick roundup of all the Game Pass games that have been showcased, as well as the August additions that Xbox announced shortly before ONL started.
Starting with the ones you’ve almost certainly heard of, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 offers a big look at gameplay from its campaign and open beta date, and Starfield’s Shattered Space DLC gets a release date while arriving for free A moon rover, and Raiders of the Lost Ark’s release date and plans for a PlayStation release have been announced.

Then, there are the games announced at the show that you can play on Game Pass day one. Sniper Elite: Resistance was revealed during previews and will “[turn] Set to be released in 2025, the award-winning series focuses on a hidden war far from the front lines, deep in the heart of occupied France.
During the main show, it was announced that Goat Simulator Remastered, a remake of the original Goat Simulator, will launch later this year and will be another Game Pass game. You can see all the details about what’s included here.
Then, yesterday also cheekily announced the arrival of August’s Game Pass. First of all, to fix that, you’ll be able to play the Black Ops 6 beta through it when it launches on August 30th. and Series X/S on August 22nd, and popular mining and crafting indie game Core Keeper arrives on these platforms on August 27th.
Then, on September 3, the swanky space transport sim star truck driver Available on cloud, console and PC Game Pass immediately upon release. Cities: Skylines, Control: Ultimate Editionand snowwalker It will also arrive in the Game Pass Core library on August 21st. Oh, and Genshin Impact is coming to Xbox later this year, so from the looks of the trailer, it’s likely to impact Game Pass as well.
