Microsoft has announced the next Xbox Partner Preview Showcase, and it will be available soon. The event is set to take place on Thursday, October 17, and will feature “new and upcoming games” from outside teams including Remedy, Sega, and 505. In short, Microsoft promises to show “more than a dozen” new trailers throughout the 25-minute show.
Microsoft said it was a “no nonsense, all gaming” broadcast. Here’s everything we know about the event and how to watch it.
How to watch the October Xbox Partner Preview
Xbox Partner Preview Coming Soon Thursday, October 17 10am PT / 1pm ET. The event will be live-streamed in all the usual locations, including the Xbox YouTube and Twitch channels.
Microsoft points out that only the official Xbox YouTube page will stream at 4K/60fps. All other channels are capped at 1080p/60fps.

The Xbox Partner Preview will include gameplay footage from Alan Wake II expansion pack The Lake House, which will be released later this month. “Yakuza: Pirates of Like a Dragon” will also release an “action-packed” new trailer in Hawaii, as well as a “see multiple bosses” for the dark fantasy action game “Wuchang: Fallen Feather”.
Beyond that, Microsoft says fans can look forward to “multiple world premieres,” as well as “other great games” coming to Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass.
“As always, the Xbox Partner Preview is about sharing exciting gaming news from our talented partners around the world: you’ll get reveals of new games, release date announcements, and all-new gameplay for upcoming titles. To To sweeten the deal, Xbox Wire will release exclusive behind-the-scenes stories about select games after the broadcast,” Microsoft said.
