During a “Marvel: The Next Big Thing” panel discussion at New York Comic Con on Thursday, X-Men edit Tom Brevoort, Gene Gray writer stephanie phillipsnewly announced ultimate wolverine writer Chris Condon, Fantastic Four writer Ryan Northand editor-in-chief CB Cebulski Gather together to discuss what’s next for the Marvel Universe.
At the end of the Q&A session, I stepped up to the microphone and asked Cebulski if there were any plans to bring the X-Men to 6” x 9” Format the book as Newly announced top series. Marvel’s editor-in-chief confirmed that the company also plans to release an X-Men book in this format, following the first wave of four titles.
Here’s what else was discussed and announced:
The panel began with a discussion of the popular Marvel Ultimate Universe and a reminder of how the absolute timeline has happened in real time since the launch of Ultimate Spider-Man. Ultimate Comics remains one of the best-selling comics of the year to date and will continue to feature Ultimate Universe: One Year Set for release in December, it will see the return of the Creator, in addition to starring in the popular hero’s first story in this universe…

As reported earlier in the day, Ultimate Wolverine Announced New design presented on panel Alessandro Cappuccio. Written by rising industry star writers Chris Condona storyline in which Wolverine is used as the Winter Soldier, serving as the Creator’s personal assassin alongside his fellow council members Magik, Colossus, and Omega Red. The preview page shows some very black and white colorless pages with occasional traces of blood red. There’s also a lot of silhouettes used – marking a dark new beginning for one of the series’ most beloved heroes.
“When Wilmoth called me and asked me if I wanted to get the title, I jumped at the opportunity and immediately thought of what to do with it,” Condon said. “I will tell the essence of the story from Texas blood Come to the Marvel Universe with Wolverine, looking back at the past and giving us something new.
“You might notice he has a red star on his costume and you might wonder why,” he continued. “If you look at that mask, he has a muzzle, that’s because he’s wild”
Phoenix #8
The new Phoenix series continues this February with some pretty epic battles to come as the fight against Pericus continues. Written by Stephen Phillips and art macrena, There are some big battles planned in the series, now not only with Gorr, but also Thanos soon, starting in February 2025.
This is the highly anticipated first showdown between Phoenix and Thanos. Perhaps the biggest takeaway from the panel was the confirmation that Phoenix will transform into something new.
“Gene is entering a cocoon,” Phillips revealed while speaking on the panel. “Phoenix will transform into something new. A new Queen of the Universe.
X-Men
Then, the panel discusses the upcoming X-Men crossover Raid on Greymalkin. A 4-issue crossover event tying together X-Men #8 and 9 and Uncanny X-Men #7 and 8, the team returns to Greymalkin Prison, which was once It’s Xavier College.

The series replaces the traditional Marvel Eternals preview time slideshow The storyline sees Cable and Bishop, two time travelers who don’t get along, crossing the timeline as a special preview of the year to come. Written by Steve Fox And by Ivan Fiorelli The series will feature story previews for 2025 and will be released in December as Marvel’s last comic of the year.
Power Man: Eternity
The new limited series will be launched in February 2025, with the story produced by Colin Kelly and Jackson Lansing, along with art by Bernard Chang, will continue to give Luke Cage the powers of Iron Fist, Sentinel, and the Hulk. Set in the present day, the story follows the hero in a galactic struggle to find a place for his downtrodden self. This is the premise:

“Amazing” Infinite Comics
Marvel has launched a new ASTONISHING INFINITY COMICS series, which is available for free online trial for a limited time, no login required. As revealed during the panel, after studying its own data on Infinite Comics over the past three years through the Marvel Infinite app, the company acknowledged that demographics have changed and is making the move to bring all These data are integrated together.
The comic will launch three new titles: “Amazing Avengers,” “Amazing Spider-Man” and “Amazing X-Men.” “The Amazing Spider-Man” will be written by Scott Aukerman (Spider-Man Unlimited Comics, comedy stick) and drawn by Salva Espin (X-Men ’97 Comics). The comic will also be paired with major comics such as Age of Ashes X-Men and House of Harkness. “X-Men” will be added in December, along with “Avengers” in January.
The same world at the end of the world
Finally, editor-in-chief CB Cebulski, vice president and executive editor Tom Brevoort and Fantastic Four Writer Ryan North has revealed information about Destroy the World. “Fantastic Four” issue 28 will serve as a prelude to the story, telling the story of Reed Richards who wants to break into Doom’s hidden magic dome and seeks the Black Knight to help him break in.
rotated out Blood Hunt Doctor Doom manipulates Doctor Strange into passing the mantle of the Sorcerer Supreme to him, and “The World Under Doomsday” will see Doctor Doom take over the entire world. It is an action-packed series that will shake up the Marvel Universe and feature a series of tie-in series and one-shots.
It begins in February with the five-issue series Rise of the Emperor of Destruction, written and drawn by Ryan North. RB Silvaof Powers of X and Rise of the X-Force cheer. This is the premise of what must happen:

For most people, there’s enough going on in the world that Doom’s absence isn’t a priority, and sometimes days without him feel like a blessing. “In “Doom the World”, Doctor Doom… [Latveria]overnight, took over the world,” North said. “Each country is a province of a unified Latvia, and everyone is responsible for Doom, and he is going to make some changes… He is going to show the world that he is the greatest at what he does, This may not be a good thing for those who don’t.
