The Diamond Week, which includes Udon Entertainment’s move, Blood Moon comics and some interesting court documents.
If you want to catch up, I’ve written a summary So far, the weekly publisher’s story. One thing for everyone given this week’s court documents: diamonds in their current form are not bankrupt. In the February 11 document, the conditions for auction of diamond assets are listed, including the planned auction on March 24 and ending by April 10. Remind people that money owed to creditors will be paid based on the sale of assets. , which is probably the well-known penny of the dollar.
An auction business list was also submitted:

It was a distinct and sober experience to see such an all-round diamond asset. When I look at it, something reminds me of: No mention Gem Publishingwhich released the Overstreet Comics Price Guide and various other Overstreet Guides. It is presumed that the gem was owned by one of Steve Geppi’s other holding companies, not including bankruptcy given the company’s absence in the filing.
Fandomworld Launched last summer, it received relatively little attention: an e-commerce website that sells collections, SDCC exclusive products, and more. Ironically (if that’s the word), it’s a comic shop retailer’s fear that diamonds will one day be given directly to consumers, which leads to many quirky aspects of the entire direct market. To Diamond is actually doing this…no one really cares.
Recalling the Tender Giant Recall that Diamond bought some Tender Giant Studios assets, a pioneer in 3D scanning and modeling Back in 2019. Diamond Select Toys basically started selling toys under fellow countryman Gentle Giant Ltd. Brand, and Gentle giant studio As creative studios, they continued separately.
Seeing free comics day on the list reminds us of an institutional diamond. While many argue whether we still need free comics day, I’ll take the risk of guessing that most people still think it should be something valuable.
§We have The first comic publishing company Officially closed: Blood Moon Comics. I admit, I’ve never heard of it before, but they are Lawrence Knorr and Keith Rommeland send out horror, SF and fantasy comics, e.g. Hexagon and gun b. In a letter to creators, they announced that they will close publishing, social media and e-commerce. Their remaining inventory has been transferred to Thornbury Publishing Housean independent book publisher, will sell or dispose of inventory and handle invoices and royalties to the creator. Comments continue:
I want to personally thank you for all the hard work and risks involved in publishing through our startups. When the news came out of Diamond, we started our fourth year of business. Unfortunately, our unpaid invoices left tens of thousands of dollars behind. We will pursue what we can do from their bankruptcy actions. Even if another entity purchases diamonds, there is no guarantee that any amount paid will be resolved. This is really shameful! Your creative work is world-class and the company is starting to grow its followers. Now, we will put everything on hold, waiting for a solution to the diamond bankruptcy or potential purchase.
It is fair to say that Blood Moon is quite obscure, but I doubt this will be the only publisher to close.
Street War publisher Udon Entertainment, a publisher of Versailles Rose and many other titles, has joined the publisher’s caravan and moved to Lunar, but has some vans. Starting from the transportation of comics products in May 2025, Utun will have no limits, Utun will be on the moon. In addition to Udon’s two free comic festival champions, the Street Fighter vs. 1 competitor school and Mega Man #0 will be filled with diamonds, both of which will be processed by Lunar.
“It’s a tough time for the entire comics industry,” said Erik Ko, general manager of Udon. “Diamond has been a very supportive partner of Udon since we started publishing 20 years ago and we respect it.” This support. We really hope that Diamonds will get strong from Chapter 11 restructuring, but with uncertainty in the future, this makes the most sense for us, for those who carry books to open up our distribution options and pass Retailers such as materials provided by other partners such as the moon distribution.”
