six years ago, Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice, stranger things) and Keanu Reeves (speed, John Wick) are going around promoting their movie destination wedding. At that time, they revealed that 26 years ago, when they starred in ” Francis Ford Coppola’s 1992 gothic horror film, Draculathe couple is actually married. Ryder said:
“We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to God, I thought we got married in real life. In that scene, Frances [Ford Coppola] Used real Romanian priests[…] We shot the owner and he finished the whole thing. So I guess we’re married.
It was an adorable back and forth as they reminisced about the experience, and now they have some sweet information about their personal lives for us to enjoy.
In a recent interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Ryder revealed that she still texts Reeves regularly, “We always say who he is, even though the text says so. Like on his birthday I said, ‘Birthday Happy, my husband. ’ And he said, ‘Hey, my wife, I love you. KR 57. Like every birthday he loves KR 57 or whatever his age is. He’s always done that.
They are the cutest. It would be a great story if they ended up together. But now they will always have Dracula. The two later co-starred in destination weddingand the 2006 film dark scanner.
