NextPlayStation game status It’s on us. Sony has officially confirmed the date and time for its next reveal. We’ve been looking forward to September’s event for some time, and You can watch it here.
This will be the first State of Play following the recent announcement of the PlayStation 5 Pro, which costs $700 and lacks any major upcoming releases to take advantage of its upgraded hardware, leaving most of us scratching our heads ( Although some people get one anyway).

Sony confirmed in a blog post that this September’s State of Play will be Will start on September 24 at 11pm BST (3pm PST, 6pm ET and 12am CDT). You can watch it on the official PlayStation Twitch and YouTube channels. Once we find out it’s live, we’ll add a live link right above that text, so once it’s live, all you have to do is hit play and boom, video games.
Sony said the livestream will last more than 30 minutes and include “news and updates on more than 20 upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 games from studios around the world.”
Thanks to recent leaks, we do know some of the announcements we can expect at this month’s State of Play. First off, Horizon Zero Dawn: Remastered recently received a rating from the ESRB, meaning it’s almost confirmed to be a remake of the show. According to reports, a remaster of another PS4 game is also on the lineup.

According to some reports (and hints on social media), Sony is preparing to announce a Days Gone remaster, also for PS5. We don’t know anything about either game beyond their existence, but it’s a safe bet that PlayStation’s suite of accessibility options will be present in both games, not to mention a number of other graphical and performance enhancements.
