The episode’s wickedness begins with Christine sitting on the bed with Cheryl’s ashes and little Timothy laughing in his crib.
Leland also went to jail. He looked unhappy. He was dressed differently from the other prisoners. As he tries to cross the yellow line, a band starts playing in his head and an inmate knocks him out.
Boggs visits Andy in the hospital to deliver a note from Cheryl while he’s sleeping with someone. Both of them were wearing masks. What?
(Editor’s note: We don’t have photos of the episode, so we’re using old artwork. Sorry)
Father Ignatius congratulated David. He is the new pastor of the church. Ben was like, wow! Congratulations! The Archdiocese wanted David to serve as pastor and evaluator. David wasn’t happy with the promotion, and Ben didn’t understand it either.
David said it felt like a black cliff. Blacks were sent to the parish only if there was no electricity – the parish was going bankrupt.
Christine built a memorial for Cheryl, which was bustling and festive.

Ben asked the girls how they were doing, and when they all said the same thing, he walked away.
David found Christine laughing with someone in the kitchen. Ellie (played by Anna Chlumsky). Cheryl cared for her when she was eight years old. Kristen wonders why she doesn’t have any female friends anymore. Then Dr. Boggs came to visit. He asked about Andy.
So, how are you adjusting? Losing a mother or having a son? I think it’s both.
Ellie asked some intrusive questions.
Kristen wants to know what we are all doing: Is Cheryl in heaven?
Leland is shocked when his appointed lawyer is a fool (John Carroll Lynch). It’s a scene performed purely for comedy’s sake, and it works.
Ellie was curious. She says she is Laura from a future particle accelerator wormhole. OMG. Really? In six months, David would leave the pastorate and move in with Christine. Tomorrow, Christine will learn that Andy cheated on her and she will divorce him.
Laura comes from 30 years in the future.
(Introduction message: “Skip the intro and the show will be canceled. Oops.”)
Cheryl was in Christine’s bedroom, or so Christine thought. When she turned around, it was Christine’s demon. He wondered if she missed him. He poured some of Cheryl’s ashes onto the coffee table and snorted.
He mocks her for not believing that Laura is from the future. He started singing “Rock Bye Baby” and rocked Timothy’s crib. Christine woke up with a start.
She called Andy in the middle of the night. He is waiting for a call. She immediately knew something was wrong. What did Boggs say? He said he met someone and Kristen dropped her phone on the floor and got dressed.

She went straight to the clinic, where Andy was still sitting there waiting for her. This is so wrong! He said he had more in common with a man who also had the disease. She told him about Timothy. He’s like, well, huh?
Christine accepts this as I do. She grabs the photo, says the party is over and leaves. People were outside watching through the windows.
Leland’s lawyer visits again. They wanted him to give it a try. They wanted him to claim he was insane. He’ll be out in a week.
He called Boggs. He said he owed him. He said he would obey.
Kristen came home and she was in bad shape. Ben was there, so he comforted her.
Laura overhears Christine telling Ben about Ellie and the future. This caught Ben’s attention. He thought it was a strange reason to come back in time. She was right and weird. Christine wondered what she was going to do. She has five children.
Kristen downplays what happened to her children. She denies the future Laura.
Ben tells David to go find Christine. He was doubtful. As Ben leaves, Demon Kristen says that’s what he should do.
Kristen cleans Andy’s house. I feel her so much
David comes to visit. They did go to her office and she locked the door. She wanted him to hold her. The way they were close set my skin on fire, so they must have been ready to burn. What. A scene.
They pulled apart, breathing right in each other’s faces. She said he should go, then left him standing there confused.

Aidan Flowers, the diocesan solicitor, visited David, who was serving as priest. There he told David that he had to close the evaluation process. Apparently the diocese pays the assessor. Who knows?
The archdiocese wants him to end Ben and Christine’s relationship. They will open a call center to handle properties.
Ben was like, WTF? I thought we succeeded. So did David. Ben decided to go get drunk. David wheeled a cooler over. They can do it there.
The band is disbanding? I do not think so!
Ben: David, why the hell are you a pastor?
David: Wow, that’s a way to put it.
Ben: I mean, you and her. You are meant to be together. Why God? Why this?
David: Ben, you don’t understand.
Ben: No? Well, tell me. notice me. More than two thousand years ago, perhaps Jesus was still alive. Maybe he made people believe he was God. What does it have to do with us now?
David: That’s how I know what’s right and what’s wrong.
Ben: You know something’s wrong. You love her. I’ve heard you two. Um? If I had two lives, one for God and one for her. What’s wrong with loving her?
David: Don’t you think I think about this every day? I’m here to commit, I swear. I swear to God. If this sounds medieval to you, well, screw it. I’m medieval because I’m tired of all the broken promises and all the other shit in this world. evil. Five minutes at this computer makes me want to put my head in the oven or work on something that matters most. I won’t break this promise, even if it destroys me, even if I [sighs] Even if I need Christine.
Ellie visits Laura. She prepared a gift for Timothy. Could she leave it to Laura? They chatted and while Ellie used the bathroom, Laura took a photo of her license plate. She was very interested in talking to Lexis because she knew what would happen in 20 years.
Boggs visits Leland, who tells him he’s crazy. Leland talks about being sixty, his faith and what medications he will need to take to get out of the hospital. Leland threatened to sell Boggs’s book, his practice, and his life, in that order. He was in court when Christine’s new attorney took over.
His former lawyer was a monster that only Leland could see. He had a body tied to him. You don’t want to do this, the guy said. If he changes his behavior, he’ll eat his brains out of his skull like soup.
After the girls gathered together, Christine opened Timothy’s gift. It was just a jumpsuit, but Christine thought it smelled weird. Lola gave her the license plate and Christine called Ben for help.
Baby onesies are impregnated with organophosphates. Karima got the message and also wanted to know why he was wearing a tinfoil hat.
Christine’s Night Stalker strikes again. This is not the same demon as the one at the beginning of the series.
Lynn was in the kitchen, turning on her demon app. When she gets an alert, she follows it. It greeted her and asked to guess who she was. It told her to follow. Linn followed out of the house and came to the Soul Gate area. She asked them where they were going and they said to hell. Ellie is behind her. She needed to talk to Lexis.
When Lexis is 35 and Timothy is 23, he will bring about a war that will destroy the world. Lynn needs to talk to her mom, but Ellie pulls out a utility knife. She needed to stop Lexis before she started. Of course, Lynn had to realize that something was wrong with Lexis.

Lexis is appointed as Timothy’s protector and will elevate him to the position of world leader, using his voice to lead armies and wipe out people. As Lynn screams for Christine, the demon in her bed teases her.
When Ellie sneaks into the house, the demon kills Christine. He was holding a bucket of popcorn. This is getting exciting. Ellie walked into Christine’s bedroom, grabbed a pillow and suffocated Timothy. Christine looks on, unable to move, but Lola blows the horn. If she were her, what would happen if Ellie killed her? Kristen stunned Ellie.
Ben brings news that the jumpsuit is poisoned. Ellie ran away and they called the police. The license plate was traced to Andy’s clinic. Ellie is the woman who sleeps with her husband. When they got there, Andy and Ellie were gone.
A nurse took a USB drive from Ellie. She had read it over and over again.
With everything figured out, David tells Christine about the Assessor’s plan.
The USB flash drive is a message sent from Sheryl to Andy. Christine didn’t read it from beginning to end. She picked up Timothy and sang “You Are My Sunshine.”
