“When Calls the Heart” was early renewed for Season 12 in May 2024.
Season 11 of When Calls the Heart has been the most-watched Sunday cable show among women and households 18+ for 12 consecutive weeks, according to Hallmark.

With these impressive ratings, Hallmark Channel is expected to continue telling stories for years to come.
How does “When Calls the Heart” season 11 end?
Many Hope Valley residents’ character arcs were completed in When Calls the Heart Season 11 Episode 12.
Despite Mike and May’s protests, Minnie takes the lead in making sure their wedding is perfect, starting with baking them a beautiful wedding cake.
To add to the celebratory mood, she and Faith arranged for Fiona to come to the wedding.
Mike panics that everything has gone wrong because they didn’t follow all the wedding customs, especially when May’s brother Beau can’t come.
He sent May into a panic when she couldn’t find Mike before the wedding, but I doubt he went to take her brother to the wedding.
Mike and Mei Sou’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous, with all the cultural traditions, from Chinese lanterns to drumming.
It was nice to make sure she had family there as well.
Lucas deals with the fallout from the canceled resort and his misjudgement of Janet.
Lucas already knows who his true friends are and who will have his back.
Lee and Rosemary brainstormed new ideas to develop a national park in Hope Valley so people could appreciate its beauty.

Although Lucas liked the idea, he wanted to develop it in Capitol City, and he wanted Lee to be there to assist him. He believes this is the only way to rebuild trust with his followers.
After Elizabeth and Nathan became an official couple, they told their children and then decided to share some secrets.
While it started out as just a game, they eventually had meaningful discussions about Jack’s death and Elizabeth’s date with another trooper.
It seemed like they were finally in a good place.
No one expected the suspense.
It appears to be a contrived arrangement when Superintendent Hargraves arrives and asks to speak to Elizabeth about the new information surrounding Jack’s death.
When does When Calls the Heart Season 12 premiere?
Like most seasons of the series, it will likely premiere in the winter or spring.
Hallmark Channel has announced some details for Season 12, including a 2025 premiere date.
What is the plot of “When Calls the Heart” Season 12?
While some overlapping storylines for When Calls the Heart Season 12 are obvious, showrunner Lindsey Sturnman also teased a few others.
After Sheriff Hargraves dropped the bombshell on Nathan and Elizabeth, everyone wondered if they were going to break them up because Hargraves never liked Nathan.
Will this series bring Jack back to life like a soap opera?

While the couple’s honeymoon phase will be troubled, they seem to thrive as they work through the crisis together, which should bring their relationship even closer.
Strowman teased that Season 12 will focus on a series of firsts that Nathan and Elizabeth experience together and see how they deal with them.
Aside from the obvious, little Jack will be starting school and some of the older kids will be graduating, so Elizabeth will have her hands full.
While Season 11 was focused on new beginnings, and Season 12 will shift more towards romance, I suspect it will still cover some new beginnings as Lucas needs to prove himself to all the people he represents.
Of course, he didn’t really want to take Lee away from Hope Valley.
It’ll be interesting to find a balance for these two to be effective leaders together while still using Hope Valley as a base of operations, since that’s where the series is set.
We haven’t heard much about the other characters, but hopefully they’ll follow up with Angela going to school to teach other blind students.
This will be a great arc for Canfield.
I also hope to see more integration and cultural integration between Mike and Meisou’s families.
How many episodes does “When Calls the Heart” season 12 have?
Like previous seasons, When Calls the Heart will have 12 episodes.
Judging from the trailer, it looks like the writers have this season planned out, so hopefully there will be some strong character arcs, as well as romance and family scenes, and fewer filler scenes.

We’re excited to see the fan-favorite Canfields return for more family drama, including: Viv Leacock as Joseph Canfield, Natasha Burnett as Minnie Canfield, Elias ·Leacock stars as Cooper Canfield, and Vienna Leacock stars as Angela Canfield.

Other returning cast favorites could include Hrothgar Mathews as Ned Yost, Loretta Walsh as Florence Yost Florence Yost, Johannah Newmarch as Molly Sullivan, and Jaeda Lily Miller as Allie Grant .
We’ll also see Hyland Goodrich as Jack Thornton Jr. and Chloë McKinnon as Lily Watson, as young Jack and Lily start school.

Production on the show only started on July 12 and runs until the end of October, so there’s no trailer yet.
