You can tell a lot about someone by knowing how they do their job. Are they the kind of person who has a perfectly color-coded email inbox, a perfectly organized to-do list, and they just sent you a calendar invite to next week’s happy hour? Or is it more likely that they have a pile of sticky notes that they never look at, so many files on their computer desktop that they can’t even see the wallpaper, and their main tasks for the day written on their arm? There is nothing wrong with either, but they are very different.
As far as this episode is concerned edge broadcast, In the second of our three-part mini-series about work and productivity and how to get more done in the digital world, we decided to get to know our colleagues in a new way: by asking them to share their own productivity systems. We didn’t give them much specific guidance or homework other than to be prepared to answer questions: How do you get work done? eight edge Employees showed up with eight wildly different ideas about what it meant to be efficient and how best to achieve it.
