The leaves change color and everything smells like pumpkin again. This also means it’s time to launch a new iPhone. Apple announces its Glowtime event will be September 9 at its Cupertino headquarters. You can listen to the live event broadcast from inside the Steve Jobs Theater, starting at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET On the Apple website, YouTube or Apple TV.
We’ll be there to report on the new features for the next batch of iPhones. We’re looking forward to the debut of the iPhone 16 – can you believe it’s already been through so many generations? Apple’s event images herald good times at its annual mobile hardware event. Let’s take a few guesses at what Apple plans to light up.
Brown iPhone 16 with removable battery
It’s been a while since we touched on iPhone 16 hardware rumors, but that’s because it feels like we already know everything there is to know about the hardware that hasn’t been announced yet. We know that the Glowtime event will debut the iPhone 16 series, which includes four phones and a new Apple Watch. AirPods will probably get an update too, because it’s about time. Last year, the only new thing was the USB-C port, thanks to EU mandates. With Samsung’s Galaxy Buds breaking some style barriers this year, AirPods need an update to reassert their dominance.
Speaking of European regulations, that’s probably why we’re getting a replaceable battery in the iPhone 16 this year. A well-known report emerged this summer that Apple was working on easier-to-replace batteries to comply with parliamentary rules. Apple has until 2027 to comply, but starting with the iPhone 16, we may see the early stages of better repairability across the range.
The iPhone 16 may feature stacked cameras on the back. Presumably, the base model of the iPhone switched to this variant because it makes it easier to record spatial video footage for later viewing through Apple Vision Pro. We came to this conclusion from a set of iPhone 16 models posted on Chinese social media site Weibo earlier this month. People are talking about how its design is reminiscent of the iPhone X.
This month, we also have the iPhone 16 Pro Max in brown. That’s certainly an option, but it’s one that Apple hasn’t verified yet. It’s never too late to look back. With all the marketing centered around the “gloss” of the event, it’s puzzling why 1970s brown became the main theme. It should be bronze. See for yourself. So, let’s take a look at what Apple announced at the iPhone launch event.
Apple Watch 10th Anniversary
This year’s Glowtime event will commemorate the tenth anniversary of the first Apple Watch. A great year usually means something special is about to happenBloomberg has Confirmed that “Watch X” is coming. Analysts said that Apple may launch a thinner body and larger Apple Watch products, from 41 mm and 45 mm products to the standard 45 mm and 49 mm.
The biggest expectation for AirPods Pro 3 is that the in-ear headphones will carry out major reforms. AirPods 4 are also expected to get a design upgrade, though the white tips of the earphones make them iconic to begin with. Apple may also launch active noise reduction function in affordable version of AirPods.
