Last summer, EA announced Star Wars Jedi: Survivors Will be available on last generation game consoles Previously a current-gen exclusive. Now, just days ahead of the game’s release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 17, Respawn and EA have provided some details and gameplay footage.

Of course, getting the game to run on PS4 Pro and other older consoles isn’t easy, and there are some drawbacks compared to the polished current version. The biggest is probably frame rate. According to Respawn, the PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X versions survivorall run at 30FPS, with no 60FPS option.
Here are the official performance targets for each platform, direct from EA and Respawn:
- 1080p 30FPS on PS4 Pro
- 1440p 30FPS on Xbox One X
- PS4 900p 30FPS
- 720p 30FPS on Xbox One
These goals make sense given the platform and its age. Still, I recommend avoiding the Xbox One port survivor Because this game looks gorgeous even in 1080p, and playing it at 720p/30FPS sounds like the worst way to experience such an amazing game Star Wars adventure.
