Zack Quaintance Review
Snotgirl It’s an interesting series. It was launched in 2016 and marks one Bryan Lee O’Malley The most famous project –Scott Pilgrim. O’Malley was writing the series, and the artwork was done by the New Yorker of the time Lesley hangs to With color Rachel Cohen and letters Main attempt (and Iasmin Omar ata Letters later). From 2016 to 2020, the series has published 15 issues, with a total of 3 trade paperbacks. Then it disappeared and returned in December 2024 and I kept calling Snotgirl – Return.
All of this is fun for me Snotgirl It is a comic that was very born at the exact moment. The concept of the series is essentially that, as the first question description says, its protagonist is a “social media star,” or more familiar influencer. Layered above is that despite her charming appearance, she also suffered a series of serious pains (and very much andCharming) allergies, hence the name. It’s smart, and it’s a way to deal with the tension between the tension on social media and the reality of life every day. But now it’s eight years, from its initial debut, technology and culture from Snotgirl born. However Snotgirl It’s as pleasant as ever to read.
I’ve been thinking about this since the series returns Snotgirl #18I think this is the best question since the book came back. One of the best questions this book has ever had may even be in a conversation. One thing that this question helped me realize is the most interesting element Snotgirl Never really had something to do with social media culture, but people were swept through it. These people are able to go beyond trends and ironies to keep it interesting.
This is especially interesting for a single question Snotgirl #18with seemingly simple settings – most characters are captured in the resort by bad weather, forcing them to face the problems between them. It’s such a bottle problem, but at the same time another plot is running, with two side characters investigating the mystery that has been part of the book since the beginning. I don’t know you, but this regular form and long-distance storytelling use is one of the main reasons why I read these things in real time when I come out. This is just a good comic.
So, yes, summarizing a lot of what I said above – Snotgirl Leaving, but now back, as fun and good as ever. Maybe a step is lost in specific moments in satirical culture, but storytelling brings opportunities and moves quickly, while characters are a wonderful bunch of bondage to spend time with. It’s not like innovation like this Scott Pilgrim, But it’s still a great comic.

Quick Wednesday Comic Review
- Bronze Side #1 (Boom! Studios): Family drama and a program designed to recover funding from the British Museum for sacred (cultural and familial) artifacts. Bronze face. Written Shobo & Shofthe book exudes style on each page, from the texture of the panel boundaries, the Nigerian identity that is not staring at the story and characters, and then we see these patterns die with illustrations of the exemplary role and expressive features of the artifact. Alexandre Tefenkgi, Coloring Lee Loughridge, With letter Hassan Otsane-Elhaou Literally, these textures bring these textures into the text and everything jumps out of the page. We have three alienated siblings, and they and I can’t emphasize this enough, it has nothing to do with blood. We see them at different times, gain insight into their upbringing experiences and then relate them to their adults as the background of adults as they reintegrate them through exhibitions. From jabs and competitiveness to care below, their relationship is real. I personally feel uncomfortable doing similar media except for a very vague line, although I won’t say that this is compared to the whole story, nothing is there. If anything, the drama really dials out when we end the story starts, at the beginning of the recycling journey. Reading and gorgeous views are beautiful, with solid features and compelling character designs. The first question sings with this creative team. –Khalid Johnson
- Frankenstein – New World: Sea forever #1 (Dark Horse Comic): If you follow the main Hellboy narrative, you’ll know the end of the world a few years ago. but Mike Mignola His collaborators have found creative new ways to add and keep everything going, one of which is telling the story of Frankenstein. This week, we will make our debut, the second mini series after the end of the world. It is understandable that some tension and momentum in the Old Hellboy Universe has been exhausted. Indeed, the world is indeed over. Why are you bigger than this? But there are many ideas in these new books. Their tone of their voices also developed a little, and I found it interesting, and felt more myths, almost basic. The series is particularly interested in exploring the fusion of fantasy horror, a concept of survival and evolution. Frankenstein – New World: Sea forever #1 Written by Mignola Christopher King, and Thomas Snowhan, With art Peter Bergting, color Michelle Madsen, and letters Clem Robins. –Zack Classic

In a new feature this week, our reviewers have conducted advanced research on titles that are now available to book…probably just one of the best comics of the year.
Various Crisis Events #1
writer: Camp Deniz
artist: Eric Zawadzki
Colorist: Jordie Bellaire
letter: Hassan Otsane-Elhaou
Designer: Tom Mueller
Publisher: Image comics
release date: March 12, 2025
Sean Dillon’s comments
In a recent interview with Empire magazine Mike Leigh What he wants to do in James Bond’s movie. The filmmaker, known for his social realist films, promoted the film as “the entire film is James Bond visiting his older mother in a suburban house, with her After a while, then leave.”
Various crisis events Not this project. For beginners, our protagonist Ashley is not the heroine of the action movie stopping the evil plot. Instead, she is an ordinary person trapped in a rather chaotic world. A waitress lives alone in the apartment, haunted by an invalid film crew to make the next apocalypse do anything there. All she wanted was to fix the clock.
Instead, the world is over.
This is likely to be the first great comic of the year. A book filled with creative ideas, clever sequences and one of the most jaw-dropping explosions of the year. Although it is obvious Camp Deniz As in “if Alec pass The ultimate crisis? “, the real star of this book is the collaboration between artists Eric Zawadzki and colorist Jordie Bellaire.
Throughout the question, Belair often chooses to emphasize the color work being done, bringing the background and even the foreground together to highlight the disjoint blandness of a matte painting that quickly undermines the acuity of the revelational attenuation . Combined with Zawadzki’s clean and clear pencil work, you’ll have some of the most vivid images of the year.
Camp’s previous efforts chose weird and gorgeous places, and the world presented Various crisis events Still rooted, but still disturbing. A sequence involving Ashley running with the police has suffered the reader from a harsh cruelty, with only a full page of the cloak flying, talking about “anti-life” and “crisis energy” that simply cannot be done.
This will be one of the best books of the year and you should immediately get to the bottom.
Strategy Report
- 2000AD 2418 (Published by Rebellion): After talking 2000AD Last year, along with Deans Simons, I decided to start reading the story even if I wasn’t stuck in my past installments. OK, this decision is for me this week, just jump in Fully tilted boogie, the third book, writer Alex de Campi, artist Eduardo Ocana, Colorist Giulia Bruso, and letters Simon Bowland. The striptease performed well, introduced the characters in a clever way (headlines with artificial clickbait, usually juxtaposed with the fun way of the panel) and gave me everything I needed to get involved. The premise of this story is that our characters will attend a War Festival, what should I do if I don’t want to see it That yes? Smart writing paired with neat line work and fun sci-fi concepts, it’s a great start. However, my favorite band is still there The devil of the Western Front, writer Ian Edginton, artist Toren Trevallion, and letters Jim Campbell. I’ve written about it here in the past, but this literary old Western vampire supernatural adventure is exactly my type. This week’s chapter introduces a bunch of interesting new frog monsters with bones in a profane old church. In other words, it’s keeping good work. The cover of this week (above) is Nick Percival. As always, you can pick up a digital copy Avant -garde here. –Zack Classic
