Yes, after EA Sports FC 24 gave you a year of football fix and even a chance to get beaten in rather miserable fashion in the European Cup final, it’s time for the next installment of the hype train to roll out of the station.

Once it goes live, you’ll be able to watch the EA Sports FC trailer above this article July 17, before 5pm BST, which is 12pm ET, 9am PT, 6pm CST and 1am JST. All you have to do is hit “play” there and a bunch of virtual football stuff will volley at your head faster and you can yell “On my head, son!”
In addition to releasing the trailer, EA also released the cover for the Ultimate Edition of the game. As you would expect it features a group of famous football personalities, Gianluigi Buffon, Jude Bellingham, Aitana Bonmati Conca, David Beckham and Zine Din Zidane both shared this honor.

Oh, and they’re set in a setting that looks a lot like a murder mystery in an old English manor, even the bedsheets are made of wood – you know, like the Dartmoor level in Hitman 3. Trophies and other football-related memorabilia are scattered around the place, so one can only assume that someone else who was very successful in the football world was killed by the mysterious attacker’s deadly two-footed challenge.
The five must be suspects, and they are forced to stay indoors until Benoit Blanc (or possibly his brother Laurent) finds out who did it. I’m high on Zidane, mainly because he looks a bit like Agent 47 here.
