I have always said that reading is important Family Chronicles: Freya Episodes I completely understand Freya’s attachment to Belle, but there’s another point Duan Town I hope to animate this legend in the main series: the short story of Finn proposing to Lily. Nothing really comes of this article, but it adds context to how Finn shows up multiple times to help her. Yes, part of it is definitely his desire to see other plums succeed, but I can’t help but feel that his dedication to training and helping Lily, and this offer in particular, is at least partially indicative of that. It doesn’t matter from a romantic subplot perspective, but it doesn’t matter from the way Loki and the Hestia family interact.
Finn’s decision to help the Hestia Familia was almost certainly driven by his anger at the actions of the Freya Familia. Although Loki’s family was officially banned from the war games out of fear that Orario might lose two of its top families (the fact that both Zeus’ and Hera’s families disappeared clearly upset Royman), several of Loki’s children But he didn’t do that. With the twins training Belle and Finn training Lily, it’s no surprise that the group’s involvement is really just a formality and far from real. What’s more, they protested to the Sanhedrin. It’s fair to say that Royman gave Freya Familia a pass for their bad behavior. By banning the Loki Familia from participating in the war games, he gave the Freya Familia a default pass, which meant that as long as the three major tasks were not completed, they could do whatever they wanted, no matter how bad it was. Since Freya is the least stupid person, she has no problem incorporating this into her plan to brainwash the city, which exposes the true weakness of Orario’s governing body. These pursuits leave them vulnerable to corruption because they are willing to turn a blind eye to wrongdoing if it helps them achieve their goals.
Can we say the same about the Hermès family? That remains to be seen. Hermes definitely has a history of doing his own thing and looking for number one, but he’s also the one who got Hestia to use Dio Aedes Vesta…which, frankly, is pretty typical for a trickster god of. He refuses to participate in the war games, which sounds terrible (even though he’s totally fine with Elsa joining, he can’t stop her), but he also clearly has a trick up his sleeve. I can’t help but think that this is related to Kassandra’s dream that predicted “the wind is on the side of the Hestia Familia”. Yes, this is almost certainly a reference to Lyu’s nickname “Hayate”, but maybe it also has something to do with who the wind blows towards.
I’m not sure anyone believed they could win this game. In the Alliance of Gods on Hestia’s side, several people participated out of the children’s wishes and against the wishes of the gods. It didn’t make people feel shaky, but when you gather so many gods, When we are together, problems are bound to arise. Freya talks good things about getting Belle at all costs, but at this point, I’m not sure she actually believes she can pull it off. There’s something sad about her demeanor, almost as if declaring a war game was her last ditch effort to appear powerful, and she really feels like she’s lost everything by not winning Belle’s heart. It’s easy to forget that many of the ancient pantheons depicted their gods as very human beings, and while I’m not a big fan of Freya’s approach, I feel like we’re seeing that now and I do feel a little sorry for her . She’s a love goddess who can’t find love for herself…and she knows full well that stealing it won’t actually help. But what choice does she have? She must live up to the expectations placed on her as a goddess, even if this ultimately leads to her downfall.
