No one likes war, but unfortunately for everyone in The Lord of the Rings: The Lord of the Rings, no one can stop it from coming.
It’s been a few years since the first season of Ring of Thrones aired, but the second season is only weeks away. The whole world of Middle-earth is brewing. It looks like there’s going to be some pretty big scenes this season, with armies of orcs and the like fighting each other on vast battlefields – you know, the kind of stuff you’d see in Lord of the Rings! This particular season covers one of the biggest battles in the series, the Siege of Eregion, and let’s just say it’s not going to be an easy fight.

In addition to all the big war stuff, Celebrimbor is also trying to come to terms with what he’s done, especially helping Sauron carry out his plans. Sure, we get to see Sauron hanging out and making his plans, and he looks like the regular guy in every trailer. Fan favorite Tom Bombail isn’t showing up anywhere, but he’s bound to show up somewhere along the line, so you can expect that, too. All in all, it looks like you had a great time!

The first season of Ring of Power had one of the largest budgets ever for a show, with a total budget of approximately $465 million, or nearly $60 million per episode. It’s unclear if Season 2 will reach that much, but it does look like a lot of money has been invested. Season 1 also received generally positive reviews, so let’s see if Season 2 can keep up the momentum.
The second season of The Lord of the Rings: Ring of Power will premiere on Prime Video on August 29 with three episodes, and will then be released weekly.
