Team FOLON, the creators of Fallout: London, have long been vocal about their desire for people to create mods that bring a fresh twist or add content to their larger mods, and now they’re doing a little bit of that Leading by example, this mod injects some chaos into your gameplay with Baldur’s Gate 3-style dice rolling.
After all, it’s not like British culture, and the established dangers of the post-apocalypse are enough to keep you on your toes as you explore the mod’s vast wasteland.

This mod is the brainchild of Jordan ‘SunnyDelight’ Albon, the lead 3D artist on the FOLON team. They’re clearly fans of TTRPG, as their entry – dubbed “NAT20” – adds a giant twenty-sided die to your character’s inventory that they can pull out and activate the die to roll for random results.
Rolling the dice will unlock one of 20 possible scenarios with an impressive 853 variations of outcomes, and as you might expect, the mod was designed with streamers and casual players in mind, making for an interesting mix of good and bad , and very strange.
For example, one of the scenes you can scroll through has your traveler “uncontrollably bursting into three possible dance moves,” with random chance also determining which of the three moves you’ll choose at any given time. Another spawns the OP enemy, which will definitely kill you, but there are 14 different enemies that can be summoned to do the job.
Others do things like generate a random number of tickets, make your character smaller for 30 seconds, and launch you into the sky at random heights as a reference to Skyrim’s infamous Cloud Zone. You can see some of this in action in the demo clip from the Team FOLON developer livestream below.

Basically, as Alban wrote: “Don’t expect to have a serious gameplay experience when using this mod.” “This mod will definitely break the game in terms of balance and may even kill you,” they added , “It’s also not tested on every task or possible outcome and only rolls the dice when it feels safe.
The modder added that they’ve received requests to make a base version of NAT20 specific to Fallout 4, saying: “I’ll take a look.”
