When I first started reading superhero comic books, I often jumped into the middle of a story and didn’t know what was going on. In most cases, this does not constitute a problem for me. My kid’s brain is happy to figure out which bright figure is which, what is the personality and uniqueness of each person’s mind, and why everyone likes/hate/loves/loves/wants punches others. As long as the questions I read were eye-catching enough, I found joy instead of confusion to figure out what happened before.
I haven’t read any previous questions SI traces and co. yes flash running. Not one. That’s why I think now is a good time to jump in and get to know the current creative team. After all, there is a tag on the cover of this issue. I like Spurrier. I like flash. It’s time to see what the two are together.
There seem to be many answers. Reading my first superhero comic in childhood the same way is like jumping into the depths of a swimming pool and falling into Flash #20 It makes me feel like I missed a lot. But no, I want to emphasize in a bad way. I’m not confused. I was not at a loss. (Or at least there is nothing overwhelming than this story that wants me.) But I’m interested. Through the new powers of Flash, the influence of these powers and the war over time, the Flashes (about 7,000 Wally Wests and their allies) are fighting. Apparently, Eclipso ate Flash’s dog and now has the power of speed? I don’t know, man. This is a DC comic book. To me, this sounds quite reasonable.
Personally, I would not hesitate to call it the first part because the events in the previous question obviously directly led to the “Moon War” we see in this question. (Most notably, eclipso ate the flash dog.) But this name is not worth hanging up. Importantly, Spurrier accelerates all the information needed for readers (sorry) by letting us join the ongoing war with Mr. Trearific’s T-Spheres. For those covering the lunar speed, the battle began fifteen hours ago. Under the dome, the flash has been fighting and dying for many years. Morale, this is not very high.
If it all sounds crazy, it’s because. All in all, this is a wild comic book. artist Vasco Georgiev and colorist Matt Hess Apparently there is a ball that presents all these flashes, they are fighting the sci-fi peasant war. There are two pages of splashes on this issue, exiting backwards, showing the moon battlefield at a distance, hundreds of flashes charging the enemy’s lines. This splash and the whole question are a wonder. This is a comic book comic. It is full of bright colors, big ideas and a lot of material.
But perhaps more importantly, read Flash #20 Give me that new comics kid feeling, this is the first time I sneak into these fictional worlds. Synchronizing with new things is not only about knowing what happened before, but also what will happen next. For this superhero comic reader, there is no higher praise than this.
Summary
My big question about absolute row at this point is “Can it keep its mass and motivation?” If there are any signs for this week’s absolute entry, the answer is a loud “yes.” If we’re not just focusing Absolute Mars Hunterthe second issue of the title will receive this week’s featured reviews. Instead, I simply tell you that this month’s problem is as provocative and visually tormenting as the first one. Absolute Wonder Woman Likewise, convincing conclusions can be drawn this week. Together, these questions prove that absolute lines have enough heart and hooks to stay fresh for a while.
- Back to the mainline DCU, the most “result” comic this week is likely Justice League Infinity #6Part 2 Mark Wyder and the company’s “We Yesterday” cross-border incident. When I like it Jlu My main question so far is that the book is trying to finish too quickly. The question continues this trend, packed with trends in a slew of backstory to explain Hell (the secret organization that has been intensifying the alliance) and how they recruited the formation of a wave of air. While the book’s most influential moments are hit, most of the things that happen around it feel like unfolding or empty plots. Hopefully this crossover will be disconnected as it continues.
Prove that nothing is necessarily Omega and doom, Harley Quinn #50 and Metamorpho: Elemental Human #5 Tick my funny bone this week. writer Elliott Fish and Al Ewing (alternately) offers a balanced dose of wit and whimsical, but it really sells these wild stories to the art team. Seeing DC embrace humor and unconventional art style, it’s exciting to let artists Mirka Andolfo and Steve Dear, Colorist Tríona Farrell and Lee Loughridgeand letters Ferran Delgado and Lucas Gattoni Cut when describing Harley and Metamorpho’s antics.
