voice actor Townsend Coleman Announced Wednesday on X/Twitter voice actor Reinaday Already dead. He is 89 years old.
TMZ reports that the actor was found dead at his home in Burbank, California on September 8 after police conducted a welfare check.
The actor is best known for playing the Splinter Master in the 1987 original ninja turtles TV drama. He has also voiced many animated characters, including Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Pompoco, Ultraman: The Adventure Begins, Transformers, Special Forces: Real American Heroesand howl’s moving castle Among other things.
Some of his non-anime voiceover work includes characters in video games Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Dead Rising, Fallout: New Vegas, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Joan of Arcand Ninja Gaiden II. Some of his television show roles include Batman: The Brave and the Bold, samurai jackand Batman: The Animated Series.
He has also voiced characters in theme park attractions, including Disney World’s “Country Bear Jamboree” and “The Hall of Presidents.”
Renardet was born Pierre Renardet in New Iberia, Louisiana. He was married to Florence “Flo” June Daniel until her death in 2011.
