The appeal of story-focused role-playing games often lies in the fact that players can play alongside and connect with them. and dragon age: veiled guardian, BioWare is introducing a new set of characters to players and is further giving the cast time to shine in a podcast about them.
Ahead of the weekend, BioWare announces narrative podcast Dragon Age: Oath and Vengeance. In the podcast, former thief Nadia and writer Drayden team up to travel to the series’ metaphysical realm, “The Fade,” and find Nadia’s lover Elio. Nadia and Drayden encounter the future while formulating a rescue plan Veil Guard Starring: Dwarf Scout Hardin (played by Ali Hillis), Gray Warden Davlin (played by Ike Amadi), Veil Jumper Belala (Han Jiying), Qunari Dragon Hunter Tash ( Kim Marley), magical assassin Lucanis (Zach Mendes), necromancer Emrich (Nick Boline) and his skeleton companion Manfred (Matt Mercer) and Detective Neve (Jessica Clark). Each episode will focus on a specific companion and provide more backstory before their debut in the game. Mae Whitman, Armen Taylor and Bridget Lundy-Paine will join the rest of the cast as voices for the new podcast trio.

Oath and Revenge are part of a wider concern Veil Guard’s Companions, as it premieres in the middle of “Companions Week.” Starting on August 26, BioWare plans to conduct a “deeper study” of the game’s characters through social media – it’s unclear what this will entail, but it’s a good idea regardless. This is especially true for people who enjoy BioWare games citing the characters as a big reason why, mass effect. Given how important voice actors are to making this happen, a podcast is a great way to engage non-gamers and help the series further develop as it attempts to revive itself.
Dragon Age: Oath and Vengeance Premiering every week starting August 29, with Dragon Age: Veiled Guard It will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 30th.
