If you’re hoping to see a sequel to Until Dawn, you might be in luck, as several actors seem to be hinting that one is on the way.
The remake of Until Dawn was only released the week before, but lingering questions are already being raised about a potential sequel, with actors Hayden Panettiere and Peter Stormare potentially hinting at a follow-up game, This fact further fuels these doubts (thanks Eurogamer). In a recent bonus video, Panettiere, who plays Sam Giddings in the game, said: “Until Dawn has been around for many years. I think people love it. The fact that they’re developing it further shows that people Want It For It may be a reference to the live-action film adaptation in the works, although the wording is apparently a bit specific, which has fans confused.

Even more notably, Stormare, who plays Dr. Hill, shared an image on his personal Instagram account’s story that showed a fake newspaper with the headline “Until Dawn sequel confirmed for remake?” the text continues “With the new ending added to Until Dawn Remastered, this new version may confirm long-standing rumors that the story will continue in the new game.” The rumor mentioned there comes from Xbox Era co-founder Nick Baker, who recently claimed that a sequel to Sony-owned Firesprite is in the works — Firesprite did say in 2022 that it was developing a “AAA narrative-driven horror adventure game,” so it’s entirely possible.

I won’t spoil those new endings that were mentioned for you, but what’s left in it does leave room for a potential sequel, and why bother adding something like that if there’s not at least a plan to do something? There’s also an upcoming movie, Until Dawn, which just recently wrapped filming, although I doubt there’s any connection between the two. For now, we can only wait and see.
