Marvel has some new updates on Elektra Daredevil. This January, Daredevil: Hell Unleashed – Red Band will feature a five-issue limited edition written by a current Daredevil writer Erica Schultz and drawn by the artist Valentina Pinti.
“I couldn’t be more excited to continue creating Elektra, and especially to put on the horn,” Schultz shared in a Marvel press release. “In this new series, we have the opportunity to show that just because she doesn’t Killing people doesn’t mean she won’t make you want her to kill people. Erica is known for her brutality, which we’ll see here. Also, with the red belt rating, it means we can get really into things. Hate it. Don’t you know what I mean? Valentina Pinti and I are very excited to show you this new direction.
The RED BAND version is Marvel’s comic book label for its more adult creations, designed to appeal to more adult fans. Comics such as Blood Hunt, Night Werewolf, and Wolverine: Revenge All have these obvious plastic bag versions so kids can’t just open them because they usually have more violence than traditional Marvel comics.

Elektra is the deadliest assassin in the Marvel Universe, and her vicious talents will be on full display this January in Daredevil: Hell Unleashed – Red Band!
