Unified Pictures partners with ReDefine Animation Ark and Aardvarkthe latest animated feature film Kung Fu Panda Co-director John Stevenson.
ReDefine Animation is part of DNEG Group, a London-based visual effects company. The animation department is responsible for last year’s work Nimonawhich was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, and garfield movie. DNEG recently secured $200 million in funding from Abu Dhabi-based venture capital firm United Al Saqer Group for IP development, a new production studio in Abu Dhabi, and the creation of an AI technology-focused new department.
The feature is already in production, and ReDefine, chosen for its artistry, experience and scale, will serve as post-production house, working with Unified’s Los Angeles-based animation team.
