Ty, known for his famous line of Beanie Babies and Beanie Boos plush, now has a new line called Beanie Bouncers that combines the softness of plush with the bounce of a ball.
Displayed at the recent Atlanta Marketplace trade show, they were 4 inches tall and expected to bounce up to 50 feet. The first wave of Beanie Bouncers will have 12 characters: Gilbert the giraffe, Fins the shark, Buzzy the bee, Swish the salamander, Leggy the octopus, Katy the koala, Checkers the panda, Mystic the dragon, Banana the chimpanzee, Sammy the Siamese cat, Cat, and Leopard. They’ll be available in the US and UK in August for $5.99, with more varieties to follow later this year.
