We have ideas about many aspects of the entertainment industry, but we don’t have the time (or, hey, sometimes the desire, right?) to write them down in long form.

We will no longer hold back due to lack of energy. Instead, we band together or share brief bursts of personal energy.

This will become a semi-regular series, and we’re also calling for silly and fun coverage for those who might want to dig deeper. Let’s see how it goes and let us know if you want to know more!

Gamer Love and Bad Boy Appreciation

What caught my eye the most recently was DP3’s Deadpool dog, which won the Ugliest Dog Award in the UK. I love all dogs, but man, that thing looks disgusting! I guess that suits the DP just fine – haha.

They will release Mortal Kombat 2 next year. My 80s gamer heart is tingling because I loved the first remake of 2021 (the original was from the 90s and it was great back then).

OMG, did anyone watch the Bad Boys movie? Because they made Reggie a bad mom who shut up. (Sorry, I’m dying to watch the Shaft series right now!) But how fun would it be to have a Bad Boys spin-off about our favorite nerdy Marines? [Sara Trimble]

Sarah, I am 100% behind your Bad Boys spin-off starring Reggie and Holtmando. Normally, I would cringe at spinoff talk because it gets ridiculous, but I’ll stand firm on this one. I’m also okay with Jacob Scipio starring in his own action series.

Surprising things from reality TV shows

As a veteran reality show watcher, I’m well aware of how much production affects things. The “Fame” production team failed by not doing more to prevent Miguel (aka Rafael, aka Jamie Lee Curtis’ nephew) from leaving the show so early.

He’s reality TV gold – pure chaos. The child understands the task. No one would have guessed his celebrity relative because he completely took advantage of people and naturally assumed it was a Latino person.

I’m worried that all the entertainment will disappear with him because no one else has enough personality to run the game.

On the other hand, I’m glad the Big Brother 26 contestants didn’t completely succumb to the production clout, because it was clear they wanted to Matt Stay longer and the contestants don’t want to.

We even got split voting instead of “majority voting” crap. Between it all, all the fun (and trivial) arguments and drama, and a truly eclectic cast of characters, it gives old-school Big Brother a run for its money. bless!

I still don’t like Suits: LA or the movie starring Stephen Amell, and that first look photo doesn’t help either. When the casting news and premise trickled in, his character seemed as dour as I did. [Jasmine Blu]

We’re tired of waiting so long for the show to come back!

That’s what I’ve been thinking about. It feels like we’re waiting longer and longer for the show between seasons, and at some point, will we… stop caring?

Severance S2 will return three years after S1 premiered.

Stranger Things Season 5 doesn’t even have a release date yet, and it’s been two and a half years. The child stars on this show are adults – Millie Bobby Brown is a married woman, for Pete’s sake.

It seems to me that these long waits are a fine line between building anticipation and alienating the audience, which is truly surprising. Can’t Hollywood see what I’m doing?

I loved the first season of Severance, but it’s been so long that I really don’t care about the next one. It almost feels like a chore and I have to watch it for the sake of continuity! [Haley Whitmire White]

It’s easy to lose interest or forget what’s going on. The momentum of good things came to a screeching halt. With something mediocre, it’s easy to stop looking at it.

I like the idea of how they shot themselves in the foot, shooting an entire season at once and never getting a reaction or enough feedback from the audience to tweak or run something until it was too late. [Jasmine Blu]

I totally agree you guys have to rewatch the show. I had to rewind something I was already watching because my ADHD was kicking in and I walked into La La Love and was completely lost in what was going on in the show.

There’s no way I’m going to sit down and rewatch something I’ve already seen. Between four kids, six dogs, and all the other work, I was dead.

I doubt I’ll even be bothered with the new season of Stranger Things because it’s been so long since we watched the last season that I can’t even remember what happened.

If there was more than a year between seasons, I wouldn’t bother until the whole show was over, which I could watch in one sitting. There’s no point in waiting so long. [Sara Trimble]

Oh no, they’re not dissing Grace Ryder for it

911: Lone Star is more than just surprising. Not only am I angry that Grace Ryder isn’t in the show’s possible final season, but I’m also annoyed that Wyatt is the new dispatcher.

No disrespect to the kid (ok, maybe a little), but it’s frustrating that he was randomly added to the show and kindly took over the storyline of the Ryder family’s life and the Ryder family having their first All the fun of a kid. Now he’s basically taking Grace’s place.

    Respectfully, tighten it. [Jasmine Blu]

Big and Small on TV Bordem

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and overwhelmed at the same time? This is how I feel about television now. It’s surprising that there’s so much TV history to watch and not enough new content to keep me hooked.

Most of the content being produced right now irks me. I’ve almost completely stopped watching radio shows – well, at least the ones that are out there now.

I still like Paramount+ Wicked, Criminal Minds (even after the less-than-stellar season it just ended), and SEAL Team, but that’s the anomaly, especially between Wicked and SEAL The situation near the end of “Commando”.

In general, I’ve been watching old sci-fi and disaster movies (thanks Prime Video!), old TV (thanks to the rare linear channel I watch (GET) and Hulu) like Quincy and Cop, and foreign television.

But honestly, where is all the old content? Decades of gigs are out of reach. It’s disgusting to think about the time and talent wasted!

The first time I bought a DVD was to watch History of Television. With so much streaming out there, why isn’t the entire history of television at your fingertips?

However, I also watch a lot of documentaries and docu-series – not game shows, home improvement shows, or other makeover shows, but slice of life, but for the grace of God – I stuff.

This got me thinking about how one of the hottest movies of the summer, Twister, could be combined with a quality TV show.

Eye of the Storm and Earthbound are both available to watch on the Max, and the actual footage puts Twister to shame.

Honestly, the tornado puts the tornado to shame, but that’s another story.

If you watch disaster movies because you imagine what happened to you, then Eye of the Storm and Violent Earth are calling your name. I felt sick watching the episode 4 of Eye of the Storm Season 1 about the fires of heaven – it was so creepy.

check it out. You won’t be disappointed. [Carissa Pavlica]
