    The Surprising: Blade vs. Wolverine

So, as a Xennial, I’m always proud of any news about my generation or childhood – I just learned that Wesley Snipes created the longest career of a Marvel character Guinness World Record. Blade defeated Wolverine!

If that’s not surprising, I don’t know what is.

No, I won’t spoil Deadpool x Wolverine. I almost did cartwheels when I saw Blade’s cameo in DP, but knowing he was coming back with a new movie, this 80’s girl performed butterflies in her living room.

An ambulance was put on standby in case I broke my hip. But Snipes didn’t just break one record. He broke two with an equally bad mom Jama.

He also set the record for the longest gap between appearances (2004 “Blade: Trinity” until 2024 DP). I don’t know who else is a huge Blade fan, but I love Trinity because Ryan Reynolds is in it.

However, Jessica Biel also does a decent job here. The great Christopherson/Snipes duo made this franchise legendary from the start. Sorry, I’m going to have a party. [Sara Trimble]

    Amazing Deadpool and Wolverine cameos

What’s interesting to me is how many cameos people noticed in the Deadpool movies.

I totally missed Henry Cavill’s cameo. There are a lot of wolverines to be aware of. Cavill is the new Superman, so it’s also fun to see him as someone with claws.

He got sick from smoking a cigar, though, which was funny. You can read about it here. [Sara Trimble]

    Snoopy’s amazing Olympic wardrobe

Does anyone still watch the Olympics? I’ve always been obsessed with Snoop Dogg’s comments, especially his costumes.

At this point, I’m curious about his Olympic apparel budget, since this guy keeps flying. What’s crazy is that he and Flavor Flav were the healthiest male characters at the time.

There was a time when their reputation wasn’t that loud. It’s interesting that public perception has changed so much since these hip-hop stars appeared on television.

Flavor Flav was on a reality show a few years ago and he just sponsored a women’s team, covering all the expenses for the Olympics. Snoop teamed up with Martha Stewart and had his own show. Now, he’s carried the torch and become a national icon. The 90s girl in me loves it. [Sara Trimble]

It’s up to us to end the chaos behind the scenes

I need someone to explain to me, like I’m in kindergarten and it’s the first day: What the hell is going on in the “With Us” press tour show? It sounds so messy.

Granted, it’s not my cup of tea for a number of reasons. The gist of it, as I understand it, is that Justin Baldoni wants to direct and adapt Colleen Hoover’s best-selling book into a movie.

It’s a story about domestic violence, but it stars Blake Lively, and rumors have it that she and Ryan Reynolds have basically taken over. I have no idea.

All I know is that this is a special twist and mess, and that Justin is clearly promoting this movie (strangely distancing himself from the cast and others) as a film that spreads awareness about domestic abuse, and it’s worth it Praising.

When it originally aired on Lifetime, the marketing team definitely pitched it as a You romantic comedy.

Blake Lively is here to promote it with Ryan Reynolds, like the End of Us/Deadpool and Wolverine version of Barb Highmore?

If it’s a marketing strategy that gets people talking, then it’s effective. But at the same time, at what cost? [Jasmine Blu]

    Climb Rebel Ridge

As a lover of action movies, I won’t even pretend I don’t plan to watch “Rebel Ridge” after reading the synopsis.

But if I wasn’t already taken in by Aaron Pierre’s hazel eyes and Reacher/Walking Tall/Equalizer vibe, they nailed it with a perfectly executed line and delivery in the trailer.

“So I was thinking, what if we walked away? But then I thought, ‘No. “At this point, I’m going to sit firm. [Jasmine Blu]

    Opponents talk back

I haven’t seen the Olympics, and I haven’t seen Deadpool or Wolverine. As it turns out, I don’t like sports or Marvel, even though I’ve seen the first two Deadpool movies. A movie devoted to Easter eggs doesn’t do me much good.

I haven’t read Hoover’s best-seller either, and I don’t plan on reading “The End of Us.” My sister and I saw the trailer for it and couldn’t believe anyone would want to see something that looked so depressing.

How on earth can a movie about abuse become a hit? This is kind of disgusting. Sorry, not sorry.

And jasmine? You’re right when you say “Aaron Pier” is eye-catching, but “Rebel Ridge” looks like another one of Netflix’s many “action” movies that don’t care about plot.

How do these things keep getting the green light? [Carissa Pavlica]
