If you’ve never read or seen Trigun, you’re in for a treat. “Trigun” is a sci-fi western film set on the desert planet Gunsmoke. The protagonist is Vash the Stampede, a pacifist who has incredible shooting skills and can destroy entire cities with one blow using his Angel Arm weapon. Vash has a $60 billion bounty on his head and often gets into trouble when belligerent bandits try to catch him.
This new collector’s edition also features a faux leather cover with foil stamping and polish, giving them a more luxurious look and feel than your typical pocket paperback comic book. It releases on September 10th for $50, but you can buy it from Amazon for $37.70.
If you’re looking for the full series, you can also pre-order the Trigun sequel series, Trigun Maximum. Set to be released in two massive volumes, the series follows Vash as he ends his two-year exile to save Gunsmoke from a group of bounty hunters looking for the ultimate payday.
The first volume will be released on October 8, and the second and third volumes will be released in November and December respectively. Like the deluxe editions, these will also be available in hardcover format, with faux leather covers and original page format dimensions.
