A first-of-its-kind export deal will make festival favorites more accessible to a wider audience. These deals create an important revenue structure for independent films.
Tribeca is the first film festival to license films to Kanopy and Kinema, with Kanopy serving as the brand’s exclusive educational and public library streaming partner.
Kanopy partners with libraries and universities to deliver content without any fees or advertising, and Kinema is a direct-to-consumer exhibition platform with pay-as-you-go functionality for filmmakers and non-theatrical distribution Vendors are offering live screenings to audiences in person or virtually on demand.
