This year, “Transformers” celebrates its 40th birthday, and this legendary action figure brand will continue to celebrate in a grand way.
Attendees at Cybertron Con 2024 in Shanghai witnessed stunning product displays, including Hasbro’s Transformers collaboration with Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog series, and new Transformers: Age of Prime toys series.
Standouts in the series include the Transformers: Prime Age Titans and the 13-star Optimus Prime. This $89.99 15-inch action figure converts from truck mode to battle station mode in just 36 steps and comes with a cannon launcher, shoulder launchers and other unparalleled features. The Age of the Primes collection opens up the world of Prime, with products fans can collect to create the perfect Age of the Primes lineup.
Another notable product released this time around is the Sonic the Hedgehog x Transformers Wingtail and Blue Booster action figures. Priced at $49.99, the Sonic-inspired Blue Booster transforms into a car, while the Tails-inspired Wingtail transforms into a biplane.
The new products are part of Hasbro’s Spring/Summer 2025 lineup and will be available for pre-order on hasbropulse.com and through select retailers on December 10 at 1pm ET. The Sonic the Hedgehog x Transformers series collaboration is only available at Target.
