Animated prequel lagging behind beetle juice, beetle juice
Box Office Mojo reported on Sunday that Transformers Onea prequel to the new animated film Transformers “The Franchise” grossed $25 million in its opening weekend, ranking second at the U.S. box office.

Preliminary forecasts for the film’s opening weekend revenue are between $30 million and $40 million. The film took in $3.36 million from Thursday previews.
The production cost of the film was $75 million.
The film opens in the U.S. on Friday after being delayed again. The film was initially announced to be released on July 19th, before being pushed back to September 13th for the first time.
Transformers One Centered on the relationship between Optimus Prime and Megatron, the story takes place in Cybertron, the shared homeland of the protagonist Autobots and their rival Decepticons.

Steven Spielberg is the executive producer of the animated film Brian Goldner, Brian Oliver, Bradley J. Fisherand Valerie Ann. toy story 4 director Josh Cooley is directing this movie. Andrew Burrough and Gabriel Ferrari (Ant-Man and the Wasp) is writing a script. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy, Michael Bay, Mark Varadianand Aaron Dehm is a producer.
Transformers: Rise of the Beastthe first film in a planned live-action trilogy Transformers The series opens in June 2023, nearly a year behind its original June 2022 release date. The film will be released in Japan in August 2023, with the title Transformers: Beast Wake.
