Here’s the trailer for an interesting looking indie sci-fi thriller called as much as suicide. The film centers on a reclusive physicist who sets out to discover a grand unified theory of physics and uncover the key to understanding our reality.
The grand unifying theory of physics is the “theory of everything,” and in the story, a physicist “built a particle accelerator in his garage and began studying the nature of reality.
“During the course of the experiment, he suffered radiation poisoning, lost his eyesight, and became estranged from his partner, who eventually left him.
“But in his obsession, he finds clarity and the key to understanding our reality. He must perform one final test.
Overly Honest Movie Reviews described the film as “a thoughtful, multifaceted journey into human ambition, connection, and intellectual pursuits.” Bloody Movie called it “an intelligent science fiction novel that rewards audiences.” .
The writer and director of this film is Gerrit van Wardenburg The cast includes Andrew Rogerson, Kate Totten, Kennedy Montano, David Skulski, Stephanie Jascott and Andrea Vada.
This actually looks like it might be a good movie and will be released on October 18th.
