ToyFest returns to Las Vegas February 18-20, 2025, showcasing toys, games, kits and more at World Market Center.
Billed as the “first national toy show of the year,” the annual event hosted by the Western Toy and Hobby Representatives Association (WTHRA) is designed to foster collaboration among industry professionals while recognizing their contributions.
The 2025 Toy Day Party on February 20 at Resorts World’s Lily Ballroom will feature three industry icons – Michael Banducci, Stewart Rosenberg and Mike Whisser Mike Whitham is inducted into the WTHRA Hall of Fame. Additionally, Snapdoodle Toys & Games of Washington State will be named Retailer of the Year.
The late Banducci was a beloved figure in the industry, starting his career as a sales representative in 1988 and later founding R&M Distributors. He rose to prominence through the success of POGS trading games and his retail businesses Games & More and Toys, Games & More. Known for his generosity and community spirit, Banducci left a lasting legacy before his death.
Rosenberg is the founder of Artist Point Wrap, which revolutionized gift wrapping for toy stores. Since entering the industry in the 1990s, he has expanded his product line to more than 160 designs, combining practicality and joy to enhance the customer experience.
Whitham’s 27-year career as a respected sales representative for Golden Sales continues to expand its footprint in Northern California and Nevada. He retires in 2023, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and strong relationships.
Snapdoodle Toys & Games is a family-owned retailer with nine locations that is praised for providing educational toys that inspire creativity.
“Our mission has always been to provide families with high-quality educational toys that encourage learning and play,” said founder and owner Rob Pickering. The retailer first participated in the Toy Festival in 2009.
Plans for the show are still being developed and more details will be announced soon. Exhibitor space is still available and retailers are buzzing about Toy Day becoming a must-attend event.
