Toybox Labs has two new home 3D printers: Comet and Alpha Two. These printers are designed for long-term use by children and families. Both models can be purchased online through the Toybox website.
Alpha 2 follows in the footsteps of Alpha 1 with upgrades in durability, reliability, accuracy, connectivity and ease of use. This compact printer features an injection-molded frame for long-term, uninterrupted use. It’s 25% faster and requires no tools for calibration and setup. Now available online.
Comet is the most powerful and largest model in Toybox. It prints seven times more than other Toybox printers and is designed for modularity. This printer features a smart leveling system for smooth, consistent printing. It’s available for pre-order, with hardware and plug-and-play upgrades available.
Toybox offers both printers to consumers in various bundles, including Toybox Plus memberships, Toy Bolts, and Coconut Food Rolls.
Both printers are paired with the Toybox Creator platform, which provides additional tools and support. Users can manage multiple printers and access computer-aided design (CAD). The platform is kid- and family-friendly and was recently upgraded with advanced design features.
