The Toy Business Forum will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year.
Since its inception, the Toy Business Forum has been the first place for participants to gain toy expertise at Spielwarenmesse.
To celebrate the industry’s twentieth anniversary, the Toy Business Forum will revise its overall structure and introduce some new elements to the show.
The Toy Business Forum, which will be held in Hall 3A, is revamping its show format by providing a stage for knowledge, discussion and inspiration.
Attendees can expect the Toy Business Forum to host a wide range of events at this year’s show. New elements such as Tuesday’s Toy Launch, Wednesday’s Toy Awards and “Exhibitor on Stage” presentations are some of the events that will take place. There will also be a “fireside chat” between Spin Master CEO Max Rangel and Spielwarenmesse eG Executive Board Spokesperson Christian Ulrich.
Another noteworthy talk on the Toy Business Forum schedule will be the “Trends & Trade Talk”, in which sigikid Chief Commercial Officer Axel Gottstein as well as Spielwaren Krömer and Toysino CEO Christian Krömer discuss whether specialist toy retail trade will still be a relevant practice in 2025 .
Additionally, this week will feature Trends & Trade Talks on the topic Sookeh as a “kid” and the German retail landscape. Discussions on industry sustainability and new insights into the Chinese and Indian markets are also scheduled.
While the Toy Business Forum show at Spielwarenmesse will keep the same name and location, the new design, speaker line-up and networking opportunities will be fresh to attendees who have seen them at Spielwarenmesse in the past.
Spielwarenmesse is an international toy fair held annually in Nuremberg, Germany. The event will be held from January 28 to February 1, 2025, and will be attended by The Toy Book team members including Vice President and Group Publisher Jackie Breyer, Editor-in-Chief James Zahn, and Executive Director of Sales and Marketing James “JD” Devin.
