Most planners cannot check their meeting bags – meeting bags with all the important content. They want to be on the plane under their seats.
However, when it comes to luggage for seats, not all carry-on rollers are equal. So the Skift meeting decided to go directly to the source and asked planners to share their recommended bags.
Here are 10 of the highest rises:
1. Hanke
The Hanke suitcase is made of 100% PVC hard shell material and has a 3-layer textured surface that makes it both durable and scratchy. Thoughtful functions include a top cover opening, as well as a number of waterproof chambers and dividers for storage. The 16-inch carry-on seat is neatly mounted underneath. Available on Amazon for $169.99.

2. Biaggi
Biaggi co-founder Stephen Hersh appeared on Shark Tank in December 2014 to save his sick company, where he convinced Shark Lori Greiner to invest $500,000 in a 33% stake. The company is known for its foldable luggage and packaging cubes, but planners recommend its Zipsak Boost! Underseater, extended to carry around. $229
3
Paravel claims to be the world’s first global carbon neutral cargo-carrying made from sustainable procurement materials, including recycled polycarbonate, recycled aluminum and recycled vegan leather. Its pilots carry around two sizes, 13.7″ x 21.7″ x 9″ ($445) and ‘more’ 14.7″ x 22.7″ x 9.6″ ($495).
4. Broken
Since Australian travelers are only allowed to carry 7 kg with them, the roller is impossible. The basic Scruffle is a practical option and comes with a lifetime warranty. And it is sustainable: the exterior is made from the interior of former consumer nylon waste and 100% recycled PET bottles. Made in Australia. $175 plus shipping.
5. Mokobara
Indian-based Bengaluru Mokabara is known for its colorful design and brisk scrolling. The popular Transit Pro ($75 plus shipping, US) can fit a 15.6-inch laptop. This innovative company offers an unusual feature: If you purchase a portion of it and determine it is not suitable for you, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund.

6. Karpark
For those who prefer soft luggage, Karl Parker’s Luka mini-rolling carries creative colors like Rose Quartz, Sage, Peony and Rouge, and features a soft, fluffy interior with multiple pockets and laptop compartments. $165
7. TravelPro
TravelPro is sold as a luggage brand, favored by aviation professionals. In the United States, there are huge bargains in the company’s store stores across the country. TravelPro’s carry-on design takes into account airline size limitations and features like USB A&C ports and laptop storage. The most compact roller is the largest chassis available for sale at $149.99.
8
Away Canner-On is known as Wirecutter’s “Best Carry On” in 2024. The New York Times editors chose its “high-end components such as a sturdy zipper, and the best rolling wheels for any packaging” $275
9. Samsonie
For many regulars, nothing is better than a classic Samsonite baggage. Brands come and go, but Samsonite was founded in 1910 by Jesse Shwayder in the city of Denver and began its business as a tree trunk manufacturing company. Its Spinner UnderSeater comes with a USB port and costs just $149.

10. Delsey
The Delsey Paris Chatelet Air 2.0 Underseater has a styling feel that makes it a great feel and can be paired with matching suitcases and accessories for an elegant entrance. Features include 20 liter capacity, a padded front pocket for the laptop and internal snapshots, allowing you to partially open the suitcase. For sale on Amazon for $289.
Rewards Choice: Cabin Zero
Many planners we talked about roller-facing backpacks. In this category, the overall draft pick to be stored under the seat is CabinZero. These bags packed with rainbows have been approved by dozens of airlines, including Delta and Spirit. Most prices range from $65-100.
