Tom Holland (Spider-Man: No Way Home, crowded room) is working with Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan Be the star of his next event film. Nolan already has Matt Damon Starring, aside from a secret plot synopsis, all we know about the Universal Pictures movie is that it will be released on Imax on July 17, 2026.
The film is expected to be shot in early 2025.
As with any of his upcoming films, top talent is always on the lookout for opportunities to join Nolan films, and it sounds like Holland has been high on the director’s list of stars for a while. While this will mark Damon and Nolan’s third collaboration, it will also mark Holland’s first with the Oscar-winning director.
Holland has just concluded a critically acclaimed performance in a London stage production of Romeo and Juliet, The play ran for 12 weeks at the Duke of York’s Theater this summer. He also achieved huge box office success Spider-Man: No Way Home, A follow-up film is in development, with Holland expected to reprise his role as Peter Parker.
