this vertical/vertical/vertical Anthology series often insert a year into their title so viewers have a context and framework when Whatever depraved, grainy, shaky nightmare they were seeing should have happened. But the “beyond” in the title V/H/S/Beyond Now that the first trailer has been released, it feels perfectly deployed. As you can tell from the bloody mayhem, this is probably the craziest entry in the long-running Discovery franchise to date…and that’s saying something considering what’s come before.
“Just…continue…shooting!” Judging from the situation, V/H/S/Beyond It will once again capture the feeling that you are looking at something you shouldn’t be looking at, that you may regret watching it, but you absolutely cannot take your eyes off it.

The directors and their vignettes are as follows: Jay Cheel, “The Wrap” (alien abduction exploration); Jordan Downey, “Storks” (inspired by the work of artist Oleg Vdovenko ); Virat Pal, “Dream Girl” (artificial intelligence story with Bollywood background, also the first vertical/vertical/vertical section from India); “Live and Let Dive” by Justin Martinez (Skydiving is already scary, so you can imagine the possibilities here); Christian Long and Justin Long’s “Fur Babies” (a comedy short set in a doggie daycare center); actor-turned- Director Kate Siegel’s “Stowaway” (described as a fusion of touch and fly).
we are ready to push V/H/S/Beyond Directly into our eyeballs, the wait won’t be too long: it’ll be released on October 4th.
