There’s a theme of payback in this week’s trailer. Anthony Mackie finally lands leading role on big screen after 10 years in Marvel Universe; Ridley Scott’s two-decade plan Gladiator Sequel is coming; we finally know what’s coming next for the macro data refinement team Severance pay.

There’s a lot to do this week, from big-budget hit movies to whimsical TV series, so let’s get started, starting with the Marvel Universe, naturally.

    Captain America: Brave New World

in trailer Captain America: Brave New WorldThaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) wants Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) to become a member of the U.S. Army again. He’s clearly tired of the idea, but is forced to join the fight after super-soldier Isaiah Bradley attacks the president.

Mackie’s first MCU movie as a protagonist (which also appears to be Red Hulk’s debut!) is set to hit theaters on January 14, 2025, so you’ve got time to catch up The Falcon and the Winter Soldier before debuting.

    F1

Apple and Warner Bros.’ expensive new movie F1 The film won’t be released in the U.S. until June 27, 2025, but it has already released a trailer that includes plenty of racing footage. Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a veteran driver who has been out of racing since a serious crash in the 1990s but is determined to return. Dow, serving as a mentor to Joshua Pierce (Damson Idris).

This movie sounds just as over-the-top as director Joseph Kosinski’s movies Top Gun: Maverick. Not only did Pitt and Idris actually drive the car in the movie, but much of the filming took place at actual Formula 1 races.

    Gladiator II

Ridley Scott’s long awaited Gladiator In the sequel, Lucius Verus (Paul Mescal) is the nephew of Emperor Commodus from the first film, who grew up with no memory of his mother Lucilla (Connie Nielsen) — although he does remember Russell Crowe’s character Maximus in Rebellion. Now enslaved himself and inspired by Maximus, Lucius joins Macrinus (Denzo Washington) in a revolt with the goal of falling Rome.

Gladiator II Starring Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Fred Heckinger, the film will be released on November 22.

    Time Bandits

Taika Waititi’s opinion Time Bandits It looks like it will have the fantasy pseudo-realism of the Terry Gilliam film, but with a few changes to the formula – the biggest being that the time bandits themselves will no longer be played by minor characters.

Other than that, the premise is essentially the same: a young boy finds himself traveling through time and on an adventure with a group of time-hopping thieves. Lisa Kudrow, Rune Temte, Kal-El Tuck, Tadhg Murphey, Kira Thompson The Apple TV Plus series starring Kiera Thompson and others will premiere on July 24.

    Agatha has always

exist Wanda Vision spin off Agatha has always, Leo Vidal (Aubrey Plaza) helps Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) escape a hallucination in which she believes she is a detective trying to solve a mysterious murder. However, she discovers that she possesses magical powers Wanda Vision All gone, she needed to gather a pack to regain them. Agatha has always Streaming on Disney Plus starting September 18th.

    Severance pay

Severance pay Season 2 is finally here. It’s been more than two years since the cliffhanger finale of the first season of this weird sci-fi office thriller. Now, the new season will premiere on Apple TV Plus on January 17th. If you haven’t seen the show yet, don’t worry: Mark (Adam Scott), Haley (Britt Lorre), Dylan (Zach Cherry) and Owen (John Turturro), but that won’t spoil anything about it.
