Role-playing game Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is enjoying a significant discount this week to celebrate its new DLC expansion, Shadows of the Void. On GameSpot’s sister site Fanatical, you can buy multiple versions of the game at discounts of up to 50%.
Fanatical’s discounts include a huge amount of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Voidfarer Edition, where you get the base game, the Shadows in the Void expansion, as well as a range of deluxe goodies like a digital art book and special in-game items . You’ll also get immediate access to the game’s second expansion, Lex Imperialis, scheduled for release in December. The Voidfarer Edition is priced at $60, a significant price reduction from the regular $100. Alternatively, you can purchase the Deluxe Edition for $32.49 (originally $65). The Standard Edition is also $32.49 (originally $50), but considering the Deluxe Edition includes extra content and currently costs the same, it’s worth the upgrade.
If you choose the Standard or Deluxe editions, you’ll also need to purchase the Void Shadows DLC if you want to play the expansion, which includes new quest lines to complete, new locations to explore, and new companions to recruit—all new content in total About 15 hours. Priced at $18.

The game features turn-based tactical combat, branching quest lines leading to dozens of endings, numerous companions to recruit, and even romance. Think of Baldur’s Gate 3 set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and you’ll get very close to the atmosphere provided by Rogue Trader.
Rogue Trader is based on the 40K tabletop role-playing game of the same name and concept.
