Diablo 4’s next big moment is almost here. The game is currently in the final days of its fifth season, and while everyone is very much looking forward to Season 6, the biggest thing on everyone’s mind is the release of the Containers of Hate expansion pack.
Hateship is the game’s first major new content since its release last year, and Blizzard is inviting players to learn what Diablo 4 has to offer ahead of the expansion’s release.

The latest Diablo 4 free weekend trial is now live, available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC via Battle.net (but not Steam). The trial version allows you to download the full version of the game, but you can only upgrade your character to level 20.
Speaking of which, Blizzard has made the decision a little easier, as the game is 40% off until the trial ends on Monday, September 23rd.
While the timing of this trial does make sense, it might be a bit awkward for new players. Soon, the game’s leveling experience and world level system will be completely changed, so for those who play Diablo 4 for the first time this weekend, whether they continue playing until the expansion is released or discontinued, it will feel like A whipping.
Still, 20 levels isn’t much progress, so this shouldn’t be a major obstacle. Although the cap is low, the viewport should be enough to give you a feel for the game’s mechanics, especially since you can play the game on different consoles and create various characters to try out different classes.
Hate Boat will be available on all platforms on October 8 with Season 6.
