With apologies to those hoping to escape the comfort of hobbit life, Legends of the Shire has been postponed to 2025.
While there are countless cozy games to play at any given moment, it’s no surprise that fans of The Lord of the Rings are particularly excited about Legend of the Shire. You can become a hobbit and do things like fish, farm, cook, and explore the world of The Lord of the Rings in a low-risk way, what’s not to like? It was originally slated to be released sometime this year, but as the end of the year approaches, Wétàamacr has finally been released. Workshop Game Studio has some bad news: the game has been delayed until 2025. :Gulu.

The good news is that a more concrete release date is coming, which should hopefully soften some of the blow.
The Shire will be the latest in a series of new Lord of the Rings films, and there will also be some new additions – such as a new Gollum-centric film, which could actually be two Movie.
