Abrams Comic Art Launched an English comic brand not at all Back in April, one of the licenses was available to first-time authors Mengjiof Witch’s Garden of Eden. Witch’s Garden of Eden Interestingly, it was first commissioned by an editor at French manga publisher Ki-oon and then released in Japan.
Volume 1 preview Witch’s Garden of Eden The artwork has been shared and evokes a Ghibli-esque feel with its detailed backgrounds and expressive character faces and eyes. The first six pages begin with an old woman named Toura giving the protagonist Pili a seed to help her find the Garden of Eden. The coming-of-age story is set in a world where only witches have the ability to communicate with nature, but their powers make humans fear them, forcing them to hide.

When the young apprentice witch Pili is forced from her home by humans, she sets out on the road accompanied by the wolf Orc. However, she is not used to the outside world and long distance travel. Her fatigue quickly took its toll and she ended up injured when she fell down a rocky slope! Fortunately, a boy named Bowie found Pili and took her home to nurse her back to health. However, the arrival of this strange girl aroused the suspicion of other villagers, who soon recognized her true identity as a witch. And all captured witches will receive the same fate – execution!
Witch’s Garden of Eden The first volume will be available in bookstores on November 12th and in comic shops a day later. The paperback consists of 184 black and white pages and is priced at $12.99 in the United States and $16.99 in Canada.
