The first phase of a $188 million convention center renovation at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas has been completed.
Renovation works begin in 2023 and will continue until 2026. Venetian Resort in Vegas.
“This city is the most competitive meeting market in the world, but what’s different about our approach is that we think about the whole experience and have invested $1.5 billion across the resort. So by next year we will have new suites , new cuisine and new entertainment,” said Venetian Resort CEO Patrick Nichols.
Four thousand updated suites in the Venetian tower, including specialty suites, will be unveiled next month.
Discussions were held with Venetian Resort executives at an unveiling event held in partnership with TED last week.
Chief Sales Officer Tony Yousfi noted significant technology investments, including enhanced digital signage and the ability to broadcast directly to attendees.
The renovation, designed by Woogmaster Studio, reflects feedback from the resort’s conference and event clients over its 25-year history. The updated design includes a new color palette, upgraded seating areas and state-of-the-art technology.
The redesign also includes enhanced lighting, audio-visual updates and digital screens to provide a modern environment for meetings and events.
The resort also continues to solidify its sustainability credentials. In late 2023, it launched the Food Rescue Alliance in partnership with The Just One Project. This innovative initiative focuses on large-scale food relief, providing fresh, healthy, prepared meals through a streamlined process to people facing food insecurity in Las Vegas.
