The first part of the trilogy was released on September 6th.
The movie trilogy is set in the first two seasons of the TV series and Love life! Nijigasaki High School Idol Department Next Sky Original video animation project. The main cast and crew will return for the trilogy.
The story of the animation takes place after Ella returns to her home country. The club received an invitation to the “School Idol GPX” competition. Contestants compete as individuals rather than as a school and compete through performances distributed through the app. Six members of the club – Ayumu, Kasumi, Shizuku, Kanata, Emma and Lanzhu – traveled to Okinawa to compete. While many of them experienced new encounters, Ayumu had mixed feelings about competing with other club members.
