Pokerface Season 2’s expanding guest cast includes Kathryn Narducci (Euphoria), Shirley Cola (The Flaw), Kevin Corrigan (Narcos: Mexico) and Ben Marshall (“Saturday Night Live”). Specific details about their roles have not yet been disclosed.
Created, written, directed and executive produced by Rian Johnson, the series tells the story of Charlie, played by Natasha Lyonne, who has an extraordinary ability to detect lies. She travels across the country in a Plymouth Barracuda, meeting new characters and solving strange crimes at each stop. Other guest stars in season 2 include Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffman and Kumail Nanjiani.
The cast of the first season is star-studded, including Adrien Brody, Ron Perlman, Chloë Sevigny, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu and more. Judith Light won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as retirement home resident Irene Smothers.
Tony Tost serves as showrunner and executive producer for the second season, along with Rian Johnson, Natasha Lyonne, Ram Berg Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman. “Poker Face” is the first television series from Johnson and Bergman’s T-Street Productions, produced by MRC and Lyon’s Animal Pictures. Natasha Lyonne will also direct next season.
