The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom may be a brand new adventure, but the upcoming game brings back some well-known areas for fans to explore. A new trailer for the Switch exclusive shows off familiar locations like the Gerudo Desert, Kakariko Village, and Hyrule Castle.

The new The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom video focuses on exploring Hyrule, highlighting some of the game’s major areas. For example, the Gerudo Desert is “prone to frequent sandstorms,” although there is an oasis where the princess can rest by creating an echo of her bed. There is also Kakariko Village in the Eldin volcano area, a town whose history can be traced back to “The Legend of Zelda: Aspect of the Gods” on the SNES.

One interesting plot point mentioned in the new trailer is the conflict between the Zora Sea and Zora River tribes that takes place in the waters of Jabour. Both groups seemed friendly to Zelda, but not to each other. Meanwhile, Deku Bush can be found in Falon Wetlands.

Nintendo notes that map traversing in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be made easier in two main ways. First, waypoints are scattered throughout the land, allowing for fast travel through warps. The princess can then summon horses across Hyrule by emitting a carrot echo. These people can even trample their enemies.

Zelda doesn’t just have horses to help her, either. Binding abilities seem to be integral to her adventures, allowing the princess to move huge objects while running around. This can also be used to dig treasure out of the ground or even relocate enemies (perhaps from a cliff). Additionally, Zelda has a reverse key that allows her to teleport through moving objects.

Last but not least, there are smoothie shops all over Hyrule. Salda can mix different ingredients together to create delicious drinks to suit your interests, such as a mixed milk smoothie to replenish your heart.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom was announced at a Nintendo Direct less than two months ago. This will be the first mainline game in the series to feature Zelda, although the ESRB rating mentions that Link is playable.
