This is around the time when regular App Store updates are released every month. Marvel Snapshot (Free), didn’t you know? here it is! The game’s last over-the-air update almost flipped the meta on its head, so what would developer “Second Supper” do for another go? Do you believe… there is nothing? Yes, this is the first update in quite a while that doesn’t involve cards at all, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t offer anything. let’s see!
First up, Marvel’s next movie Deadpool and Wolverine In the near future we can expect Marvel Snapshot (and probably most other Marvel apps) Give the titular couple some extra love in July. A new Character Album feature has been introduced, allowing you to collect various cards for a specific character and earn some nice rewards as you fill them out. More or less the same as the other themed albums we have currently, but focused on one hero. Hey, look at this: The first character album is for Deadpool and Wolverine!
I’m not sure who’s banging the lid on collectible borders, but they can be found in more places now. Now you’ll see them in the Season Pass, as Conquest Store items, and even as login rewards. In fact, they’ve been the last thing currently logged into the collection of goodies. Personally, I don’t really use them, and I can’t imagine I’d trade them for valuable in-game currency, but maybe you like them? If so, stop here.
As for the cards themselves, the only changes are edits to the text to make the content more consistent and easier to understand. There’s no actual balance adjustment at all, which is weird. really weird. I’m now worried about the next OTA update. There are some new visual and audio effects here, as well as some bug fixes. Everything is in line with the course there. That’s it! Maybe we’ll get more when the next update for the new season arrives, whatever that may be. Snicket.
